I recently joined the physical therapy workforce in 2018 after receiving my doctorate degree from the University of Michigan - Flint, and am currently an acute care physical therapist. I’m passionate about my job as an acute care therapist, and am seeking another physical therapy employment opportunity to maintain a variety in my career, as well as gain experience in various patient settings to further progress my ability to treat all people. I am dedicated to providing the best care that I can for my patients, which includes a holistic approach on treatment and interventions to improve patient function and quality of life to best meet their needs in all phases of their rehabilitation.
I take special interest in the geriatric population, women's health, and acute care. My enthusiasm and creativity allows me to bring new and exciting ideas to the workplace, as well as motivates patients to reach their optimal level of health and performance. I believe strong skills in patient advocacy is a requirement in the career of physical therapy, and intend to continue actively researching and seeking ways that our profession can constantly improve the services we are able to provide.
My passion for rehabilitation as well as compassion for others is obvious on a daily basis, and I will continue to strive for excellence with the care that is provided for my patients.
