My Responsibilities Included:
Providing risk management for consumer, agent, and corporate protections in the escrow, title, and foreclosure processes; establishing and enforcing best practices, policies, and procedures for opening, processing, and closing high volume and high liability sale, refinance, and foreclosure transactions.
Reviewing and providing legal opinions and solutions to staff and clients regarding issues that arose in the company’s processing of consumer sales, loans, and foreclosures in all genres of high liability real estate sales and refinances
Extensive review and extrapolation of pertinent information from corporate and real estate related contracts, documents, and exhibits for title insurance, escrow, and foreclosure requirements; and executing the tasks and orders pursuant to the terms and conditions of the contracts
Problem solving over title underwriting and title clearing issues regarding properties in escrow and foreclosure
Establishing and implementation of the auditing standards and review process of closed escrow, title, and foreclosure files for quality control and adherence to established company policies and procedures in processing consumer escrows
Supervising all day-to-day branch operations, personnel management, daily trust accounting and bank reconciliation management, and corporate/branch financial forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management
Writing company policies and procedures manuals; creating lesson plans and testing materials; teaching and training various levels of escrow, title, and settlement processes
Creating, implementing and enhancing paperless file processing for both in-house operations and direct-to agents, lenders, and consumers
