Demo and Repair Coordinator April 2018 – Till now.

As the Demo & Repair Coordinator, I worked in collaboration with the Marketing and Sales teams to facilitate the insurance and return of demo equipment from conferences, shows, and customer sites. This role will focus on receiving and handling non-conforming medical equipment products for assessment and repair. While coordinating efforts in a cross-function team setting, I also deal with Return Merchandise Authorization, credit memos and Quality Assurance documentation on a regular basis.

Along with strong technical expertise and a passion for helping others, I have a strong problem solving skills and the ability to coordinate multiple conflicting priorities using a proactive approach.

Essential Functions:

Demo Support

Responsible for the full cycle of preparing equipment and disposables for Conference/Show/Training and Customer Demo purposes including creating order, picking, QC/DHR preparation, arranging for packing/shipping and reverse logistics for return

Develops and write work instructions for Service department procedures

Perform a regular audit summary report that highlights the equipment usage, including missing equipment reported

Monitor the status on demo orders and work with warehouse to ensure arrival dates and shipping instructions are communicated and shipments are complete

Monitor assets in the field utilizing the MS Office Excel & ERP to communicate with sales force on the status of overdue items

Communicate damaged goods write-offs and the transferring of demo equipment to proper Inventory Control personnel

Manage the extension of order due dates and/or retrieval of equipment with the sales force, communicating the importance of following established guidelines

Investigate, reports and escalate non-conformities to the Compliance Team as deemed necessary

Maintain appropriate records of the activities as required for auditing

Produce and distribute regular demo related reports as required

Develop and manage asset tracking and retrieval processes to ensure the optimal usage of Laborie assets.

Also as Repair Support:

Interface and support for all in-house repairs

Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical assemblies such as proprietary hardware and peripheral equipment

Calibrate repaired equipment to establish performance standards

Log all repairs and complete all required documentation for tasks performed.

Processing Customer RMAs to provide the most efficient process for verifying paperwork accuracy, inspecting product condition and performing the necessary steps to ensure inventory is returned for repair
