Liquifi/ Total

Touch

Liquifi/ Total Touch project helped Citi Bank to protect the customers trading cost on the Securities Exchange. It uses the “Dark Pool Crossing Engine” concept to cross or match the orders internally before getting executed in the exchange. To protect customer anonymity and lessen market impact, “dark pool crossing engine” is introduced where ‘dark’ orders (appetite) are rested within the crossing engine without being listed in the Exchange. Liquifi is the next generation “dark pool crossing engine” in Citigroup Equity division. As a registered alternative trading system (ATS), Liquifi can cross or match orders internally with minimal market impact and greater anonymity. Other benefits of Liquifi are better execution price, faster execution, and lower exchange fees. Customers for Liquifi include retails, algorithms, hedge funds, and program traders. Options exercised by the employees and restricted shares delivered are sent from Fidelity to Goldman Sachs through encrypted Incoming feed files on daily basis and the reconciliation is performed at Goldman Sachs end on regular intervals to find any discrepancies. Files are PGP encrypted and sent/ received via SEFT method. Automated Batch Jobs are executed for the files and data movement.
