Training Development Program Manager / Senior Instructional Systems Designer

-Managed the planning process, provided cost estimation, assisted in contract development and level of effort determination. Supervised 20 Cape Henry personnel, provided management oversight for 5 subcontractors, and coordinated with government project administrators. Conducted analyses to identify and validate training requirements, document results of analyses, and develop and recommend alternative training strategies for consideration of decision-makers. -Project Lead for updating and standardizing 196 Operational Cultural Awareness Training (OCAT) briefs developed by the Navy Center for Language, Regional Expertise, and Culture. Duties included: proofing of textual content for grammar, spelling, and logical flow; update of graphic content with high quality copyright-licensed or copyright-free, relevant photographs / graphics; voice-over with professionally-produced narrations; publication of brief into four formats: Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation (.PPT) format; Microsoft® PowerPoint® show (.PPS) format; Audio Video Interleave (.AVI) format; and Moving Picture Experts Group 4 (MPEG4) format.

-Project Lead and Curriculum Developer (current) for a Navy Seabee project involving the development of mobile applications that enhance and provide training for construction and maintenance activities associated with Navy Rate Training Courses.

-Project Lead and Curriculum Developer for the Domestic Response Capability (DRC) Refresher Training Course. This Interactive Media Instruction (IMI) course provided fielded soldier’s familiarity with the operation and technical aspects of the following systems: Agent Disclosure Spray, CAD Kit, M256A2, First Defender RMX, Reactive Skin Decontamination Lotion, VPS-1 Level A Suite, and Test mate.

-Project Lead and Curriculum Developer for the revised Contingency Engineer (CE) course of instruction encompassing the entire Naval Educational Training Command (NETC) content development end-to-end process. This course provided policy, doctrine, procedures and guidance of the Contingency Engineer when operating in theater based on numerous sources, including Department of Defense, Joint Staff and OPNAV Instructions, Navy and Joint Tactics, Techniques and Procedures, and a variety of additional references. All training products are being produced in the Authoring Instructional Materials (AIM) II database.

-Curriculum Development for Navy Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center (NMITC) Imagery “C” School creating Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and IMI products.

-Developed ILT training products for USA M9 Armored Combat Earthmover (ACE) and USMC 150/600 gallons per minute (GPM) pump assemblies in accordance with Systems Approach to Training Manual (SATS).
