Professional Summary:

Eleven years of experience in roadway and bridge new full depth construction and reconstruction to rehab. Permit Unit and with a private consultant firm’s as an inspector for gas mains 1” to 10” high pressure, service lines to homes and businesses. Water mains from 4” to 36” including service lines to homes and businesses. Worked with survey crews shooting grades for various operations, highway lighting new and rehab, line painting and legends, retro reflectivity testing of paint and bead. Clearing and grubbing, demolition and disposal of bridge waste, disposal process of paint contamination, various classes of excavation, Cl. 1, Cl 2, to finish grade, compaction and compaction testing, non- movement reports. Work History:

Kriger Pipeline Inc. 10/07/2019 – 03/18/2020 - Dickson City, Pa.

Worked as a safety officer – Checked job sites for proper PPE: Cones, signs, barrels and flaggers when needed. Also checked gas detectors and fire extinguishers. Calculated stab depths on electric fusion fittings on pipes. The depth of the Main and service lines. Also created service cards and As-built drawings for the Main line.

GHD Engineering – Bloomsburg, Pa. 4/17/2017 to 9/30/2019

Over saw placement of water mains ranging in size from 4” to 36” DIP. Installed fittings, mega lugs, Tees, faster adaptors and valves. Performed tie-ins once water main was tested. Placement of new services to homes and businesses. Checked the height of the main through out the project, some project they bored under creeks and streams using HDPE with valves at each end and tie-into the new DIP using adaptors or sometimes reducers. Placement of gravel as bedding and around the pipe, modified placed in lifts and compacted with a hoe pac. Used proper shoring when needed due to unstable earth or if excavation was over 4’. Monitored safety on the job daily and assisted with scheduling. Calculated asphalt, trench repair and permanent pavement restoration. Created all service cards, drew As-Builts, did final measure on walk through for all final payments.

State Inspector for Penn Dot- 08/10/2010 to 04/15/2017

Worked on various projects for full depth reconstruction, milling, paving, new bridge and bridge rehab, epoxy deck over lay, base repair, excavation, line painting, highway lighting, Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE), Inlets, storm water sewer pipe separation, ADA curb cuts and various E & S control. Worked on the PPCC system and ECMS.

SR 061 North & South Bound lanes/ Coal Twp. Pa.

This project had 54” RCP to 18” RCP storm water pipe, many inlets, head walls and other drainage items due to heavy flooding over the years in various areas. Highway lighting, running to wire to existing signals. Epoxy deck overlay, and 2 miles of milling calculated by square yards, some base repair, center line joint repair. Scratch course placed on milled surface then topped with 9.5MM, calculated the tonnage placed for conduct sampling of the material for loose boxes and cores to be sent to the lad. Ensured the joints were sealed when paving ended for the day. Checked traffic control daily filing a CS 901 daily review for long term signs, traffic cones were set at the proper distance, and barrels were all standing along with and big foot channel markers.

SR I-180 West & East bound lane from Turbotville to Muncy Pa. $60 million

Full depth reconstruction of all 4 lanes and shoulders, 3 bridge rehabs, on and off ramps at the exits for Muncy and Turbotville, new inlet’s, and storm water pipe, right of way fencing, guide rail, new Street lights on all four ramps, including new pedestal foundation, poles, conduit, wire and junction boxes. Full depth grading after and existing material was excavated, grading with various lifts of 2-A sub- base, 25MM placed in 6” lifts, 19MM binder placed at 2.5”, then 9.5MM wearing course placed. Checked traffic control daily, filing a CS-901 checked barrier, EPO, long term signs, and any channeling devices being used.

SR 054 East & West / SR 061 North & South bound lanes From Atlas to Coal Twp.

This was a $5 million mill and fill project with type 6 and 7 shoulders, major base repair with heavy duty membrane over existing cracking in the concrete, 9.5MM scratch course placed after all the milling was complete. 25MM base in some shoulder areas, 19MM binder placed, the 9.5MM wearing. Heavy duty deck membrane placed with ID2, concrete curb repair and loop signals for highway lighting. All asphalt was tested with loose box samples and cores, roller patterns and joint cores taken.

Five SR’s in Berwick Pa. $4.4 million

This project consist of 30 ADA curb cuts all new construction with the exception of 2 that were design build, milling various roadways and placing 9.5MM wearing course, this project was in a very flat area, extra care was taken to ensure proper drainage.

SR I-80 East & West bound lanes River Bridge Project $68 million

Demolition of the existing West bound bridge, building causeway’s out into the river, placement of new footers, piers, pier caps, super structure concrete beams, new deck pans, rebar, parapets and concrete deck. New tooth expansion dams, MSE walls, rehab of the existing East bound bridge. There was a total of 8 structure on this project, 6 were rehabbed. All received epoxy deck overlays. 8 miles of roadway, on / off ramps, one underpass and shoulders, Milled and paved, full depth excavation conducted at the underpass. Various E & S was needed on this project, filter socks, rock check dams, filter inlet bags, geo and R-3 for RCE, these materials were checked after each rain event and on a weekly basis, with reviews on and sent to the County Conservation District. Piles driving reports, testing of concrete, air, slump and temp and cylinders made. Bridge approaches, milling and paving. All asphalt was tested with loose boxes and cores. New highway lighting placed on the ramps and acceleration lanes. New guide rail installed. Daily inspection of traffic control devices was done with a CS-901 filing twice daily, long term signs, barrels, barrier any and all channeling devices. I did most of the daily input into NextGen, created work orders in ECMS, filed reports, ran estimates and checked quantities with the contractor.

TRC Engineering SR I-80 - East & West Bound lanes from MM 241 to 231 and SR 42 North & South bound lanes- $39 million 03/25/09 – 08/10/2010

Full depth reconstruction on SR 42 and the ramps, new concrete Islands, mountable curb, highway lighting, control cameras, new direction and information signs, ramps and most of the roadway was full depth from sub grade with 2-A sub – base to final grade and prepped for wearing. New West and East bound bridges.

New footers, piers, pier caps, beams, deck pans, rebar and concrete decks. New guide rail through out the project, 10 miles of paving, full depth is some areas on I-80 with 25MM base course, 19MM binder and 9.5MM wearing. I also did all the office work on this project, supervised various inspectors and interns, did work orders, change orders, there was over 735 item numbers, keep up with the entries in the material books and dealt with the State auditors.

Most of all the project’s I worked on I did office work, road and bridge work, trained interns, assisted and supervised inspectors, worked with contractors and clients. I have vast knowledge in pipe work both water and gas from main installation to services.
