Gumnut Systems International is a Sydney based software development company specialising in ‘end to end‘ business management systems aimed at the small and medium business sector. With special focus on operational tools designed for Spa‘s, clinics and wellness centers, fitness gyms, food and beverage operations, and retail management.

Upon joining the company I set aggressive expansion targets and made enormous strides with respect to opening new vertical markets and overhauling the entire sales process.

I rapidly established a small development team to focus on mobile applications designed to interact with the Gumnut Core System and deliver unparalleled flexibility and omni channel functionality. I began the overhaul the global marketing strategy beginning with a complete re design and re-purpose of the online presence including web site, social media strategy, and lead generation activities. Complete overhaul of the local brand presence and Go To Market Strategy, Build sales and delivery process. Define and build digital marketing practice.

Signed and delivered significant new clients in the retail and leisure sector and designed, built, and delivered bespoke Android and IoS Apps to enhance process and customer experience.

Anxa is a European player in the internet, e-commerce, and mobile industry with a considerable reputation and large partner network. As VP for Operations, I took on a key role managing communications and technical specifications (UI/UX, Funnel Optimization, Content Delivery) between the sales and marketing teams and the product teams, and the technology teams.

Coming from a deep sales and marketing background, I was able to help the marketing teams to carefully define their goals from a technology perspective and then negotiate with the technology teams to plan, design and deliver those needs.

This includes constant communication with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless

delivery of projects.

Key implementations included: major upgrade and installation of email marketing tools (Neolane, now Adobe Campaign), major launch from the ground up of an e-commerce retail site (functional and graphic design, build out and launch). I take a very detailed approach to project management and my many years of sales and negotiation skills are powerful asset with respect to getting all stakeholders on-board and keeping projects moving forward at a strong pace.

As VP for Business Development I had full P&L responsibility for all assigned territories. I managed a team of 10 sales people, developed strong distribution partnerships with our brand and distribution channels around the world. Signed key partners including Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Wanadoo, VSNL, Virginmedia, and Fox Interactive. In the mobile business I worked with Orange, Vodafone, Telstra, 02 amongst others.

Since joining Anxa, l have worked closely alongside the CEO to develop new products and new markets. I have slimmed down the product offering to focus on core revenue generating products. On-line Brands is a US owned digital marketing company specializing in SEO Whilst the company has seen considerable growth and is servicing an impressive client list including Toyota and British Airways. The owners are primarily I.T. people with little experience in the area of sales and marketing. At their inception they where a market leader but have since seen considerable competition entering this specialized field. My mandate was to help the company re focus its unique selling proposition and to streamline its message through its corporate communications and sales package. This includes re-working the copy for the web site and all of the company brochures etc. as well as training the sales force and setting achievable targets for growth.

The company, based in Italy, is a world leader in high-tech specialist eyewear. The local Philippine

operation is a joint venture between the Italians and a local partner. The company has realized steady growth in the Philippine market over the years now operating five outlets. Our goal was to develop Filipino talent through music and to offer opportunities to artists who otherwise would not have the chance to have their music heard. Most of the albums have not yet had any significant commercial success, yet we continue to pursue our personal goal of launching some of the artists onto the international music scene.

I danced for a number of years at the top of my profession including stints with Transitions Dance based in London, Albano Ballet in Hartford Connecticut and as a soloist with American Festival Ballet.
