Specific duties include: QC review of hazmat survey reports generated by both Junior Level Industrial Hygienists and Mid and Senior Level Project Managers as well as a QC review of Hazmat abatement /remediation close-out reports generated by Junior Level Industrial Hygienists.

Conduct field QC tasks for field work (hazmat surveys and abatement/remediation projects) performed by Junior Level Industrial Hygienists. Also involved with providing training for newly hired junior level employees.

Work Responsibilities included the following: conducting quality control duties for field work performed by IH field personnel (sub-contracted by the abatement contractor); performing daily and final clearance inspections of abatement regulated work areas; collecting and analyzing air samples; collecting and submitting bulk samples for lab analysis; and generating daily final reports.

Senior Industrial Hygienist, CSS-Dynamac, Inc., Fairfax, VA; 2012-2016

Performed project related tasks for the Architect of the Capitol (AOC) On-Site Safety and Industrial Hygiene Services Contract, Washington, D.C. – Responsible for QC management duties which included: review of construction/renovation documents (consultant hazmat surveys, schematic drawings, etc.), for Hazmat concerns as well as performing QC reviews of consultant and in-house (AOC) asbestos and lead abatement work plans/designs. - Initiated and established direct AOC client contact as well as contact with outside consultants by attending project kick-off meetings and subsequent progress meetings. – Also, performed an extensive regulatory review of both the OSHA General Industry and General Construction Standards pertaining to lead-based paint. – In addition, executed a variety of other related tasks which included: visiting/inspecting asbestos and lead abatement project sites; performing limited asbestos, lead paint & PCB inspections which involved generation of subsequent reports; conducting periodic OSHA safety inspections; and providing an emergency response effort for any industrial hygiene safety concerns that had arisen.

Performed project related tasks for the FBI PCB Environmental Health and Safety Compliance Contract, Quantico Marine Base, VA. Project tasks were performed as part of a site characterization for the presence of PCB containing building materials within the 750,000 Sq. ft. FBI complex. Specific duties included: collected air, bulk and dust wipe field samples for PCB analysis; reviewed and evaluated analytical lab results; and assisted in the subsequent report preparation.

Performed project related tasks for the Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital Asbestos and Lead Renovation and Abatement Contract, Washington, D.C. Specific duties included: on-site occupational health and safety personal air monitoring for both asbestos and lead abatement procedures; on-site PCM analysis for collected asbestos air samples; reviewed and evaluated analytical lab results for collected lead-in-air field samples; and prepared subsequent monthly trend reports for both asbestos and lead personal air monitoring. In addition, performed Lead TCLP bulk sampling procedures.

Conducted lead risk assessments and lead hazard screening assessments for various residential public housing properties. Specific duties included: formulation of sampling plan; collection of both lead dust wipe and lead soil samples; review and evaluation of analytical lab results; and preparation of subsequent report.

Performed mold/fungal assessments for various indoor air quality projects. Specific duties included: mold spore air sampling; review and evaluation of analytical lab results as well as preparation of subsequent report.

Quality Control/Project Manager, Environmental Design and Construction, L.L.C., Washington D.C.; 2005-2009

Conducted quality assurance and quality control related tasks for the D.C. Public School System (DCPS). Specific QA/QC management duties included: developed over 50 regulatory compliant asbestos and lead abatement project design templates, and performed QC duties for project tasks conducted by staff level industrial hygiene professionals (staff level IH project tasks included field assessments and generation of associated abatement project designs). Additional duties included: classroom and field training for all staff level industrial hygiene inspectors/assessors; initiated and established direct DCPS client contact; and determined labor and material cost estimates for generated project design work.

Performed industrial hygiene assessments for DCPS. Specific duties included: asbestos assessments for O&M repair procedures as well as for major renovation work, and generated abatement project designs.

Conducted Quality Control Management duties and tasks for the USACE Walson Hospital contract, Fort Dix, NJ. Specific QC management duties included the following: inspection of prior and all on-going subcontractor work which entailed providing oversight for all removal and safety procedures/concerns dealing with asbestos abatement and demolition; initiated and established daily client contact with USACE representatives (involved the discussion of: daily work progress, scheduling, sub-contractor work issues and the means to correct any un-resolved work issues); review of all submitted contractor QC reports and related documentation; and performed limited follow-up asbestos surveys.

Performed drinking water field sampling procedures for potential lead contamination as part of an environmental services contract with the Architect of the Capitol (AOC). Also, analyzed/interpreted subsequent analytical lab results and assisted in the generation of final report. Work was performed in the U.S. Capitol Building and surrounding U.S. congressional office buildings in Washington D.C.

Participated in conducting PI and PII ESAs.
