The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) represents a premier distributor representing over 400 manufacturers in the health food, beauty, and beverage industry. The TSM manages customer sales and promotional programs with health grocers, pharmacies, health retailers, manufacturers, and brokers in a designated geographic region, with the corporate goal of increasing sales. Gloria specifically utilized her educational training in packaged foods to create community media events to present classes using new products. Detailed responsibilities: Personal visits/calls on all store accounts to build positive customer relationships, followed by appropriate reporting on each; also regular review and visits to smaller account markets (C and D) for potentials to increase store sales.

=As a Wholesale Importer/ Distributor, Candidate developed and operated the sales, distribution and merchandising of a specialty and gourmet food product company with a gourmet showroom in the Dallas World Trade Center, and distribution of the health food bar “Meal on the Go” in approximately 40 Military commissaries and grocers on behalf of Provesta Corporation, a subsidiary of Phillips Petroleum. Distribution included: HEB, Whole Foods, Wild Oats/Sun Harvest & other specialty athletic and tackle shops. Additional products included: The Balance Bar; Jack Harold Gourmet Fruit Teas, and Frudesa dehydrated vegetable & fruit powders.

Responsibilities included: sales and negotiation of contracts, coordination with manufacturers, pricing, warehousing, advertising, merchandising, and promotion. Approximately 50 merchandisers were also trained and managed in order policy, sales reports, in-store stocking and display.

The candidate also engaged in product design, package design, import and export of decor products such as Holiday trees, floral arrangements, silk flowers, holiday ornaments, dolls, holiday lighting products, and accessories. This included the development of the concept, theme for products, packaging and label design for an Internet product-marketing page.
