WORK EXPERIENCE
In my most recent role I was responsible for coordinating and executing details for private events, marketing events and internal communication within the company.
• Work closely with the marketing department
• Book, plan and execute all events, including marketing events, weddings, in-home catering, golf tournaments, charity and corporate parties
• Design and facilitate printing for all menus within the Food & Beverage depart- ment and in-house marketing and signage
• Maintaining the company website design with updated information
• Spearheading a program sending daily email communication to membership
• Initiating and designing new programming to better market events to membership
• Coordinate and execute details for events. Details include but are not limited to; event space, creating menus, coordinating catering needs with Food & Bever- age Department, arrange necessary rentals, audiovisual equipment, and ensure appropriate décor (florals, linens, furniture, color schemes) to meet the quality expectations of the member
• Direct and lead service team during the event and being present for clients.
• Assist with resolving issues as needed and always provide support
• Serve as liaison with vendors and other departments
• Develop target goals to increase revenue with a focus on marketing events
• Anticipate clients’ needs and ensure that service meets/exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and pleasant event experience
• Assist with preparing budgets including fiscal budget
• Keep track of event finances including check requests, invoicing, and reporting
• Create 30 to 90 day revenue projections
• Conduct follow ups with clients after events
