Regional Operations Manager August 2004 – November 2016

Director of Operations for the nation’s leading provider of laundry solutions for the multifamily, residential and commercial industries.

Oversee and dictate all operational aspects of 34 warehouses across the company’s west region. Lead a team consisting of 7 area managers, 17 regional managers, and 195 drivers. Responsible for strategic planning, performance management, and evaluation of operational needs: staffing levels, fleet and equipment, organizational structure, performance analysis, and motivational programs Responsible for the development and adherence of an operational budget exceeding $40 million per year and a capital budget exceeding $15 million annually.

Key Accomplishments:

•Work orders increased from 209k to 286k per year, growth increased from 238k to 421k machines on rent.

•Created a comprehensive program to track and rank monthly performances of all warehouses based on key performance indicators.

•Reduced voluntary turnover nationally from ~85% to ~25% after implementing 3 different pilot plans concurrently, and adopting best practices from each of them.

•Decreased recordable injury rate from 2016-present from greater than 10.0 to 4.5 by implementing lean philosophies, mandatory safety meetings, and an increase in awareness for front line team members.

•Led team that revised inventory procedures, created new inventory tracking software programs, and wrote a new inventory playbook resulting in 0.3% inventory variance yearly on over 20,000 idle machines monthly and over 2,000 machine movements every day.

•Served as core member of Plan 2 Win and Go to Market Initiatives Waves 1 and 2, a multi-departmental, multi-business-line core team responsible for transforming the organization, through a series of business initiatives.

•Served as Corporate Manager responsible for all aspects of 5 acquisitions resulting in an additional 25,000 machines, 4.7 million in annual revenue, and 3.4 million in EBITDA.

•Implemented new strategic relationships with partners such as Ryder, Expeditors logistics, Penske, Rush Trucks and other smaller 3PL companies as well as several owner operators.
