RESPONSIBILITIES IN ALCANTARA GROUP
Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Maintains General Ledger Accounts and Reconcile them with day to day transactions in control Accounts.
Review all the invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment process.
Post all the Vendor Invoices into System after obtaining the approval and allocate Vendor payments in accordance with agreed payment terms.
Reconcile Vendor Statements and correct discrepancies, responding to all vendor inquiries and maintain good working relation with them.
Manage petty cash disbursement on obtaining monthly expenses from employees and reconcile the expenses.
Prepares Vendor, Cash and Bank Reconciliation and Cash flow for monthly and yearly basis.
Prepares monthly reports and Financial Statements in the month end & yearend periods and support month end and year end process.
Coordinate with Auditors and provide necessary details and explanations for Audit process.
Assists with upcoming new Projects as requested by management
Training and mentoring junior staff, reviewing journal entries of junior staff to ensure accuracy before posting.
RESPONSIBILITIES IN APPAREL GROUP
Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts for all the Stores.
Posting and processing Journal entries to endure all business transactions are recorded.
Updates Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable and performs reconciliations
Prepares the payments and resolves the Vendor discrepancies.
Assist in the preparation of Balance sheet, income Statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial Guidelines.
Assists with reviewing of expenses, payroll and Checking and Reimbursement of petty cash, etc. as assigned.
Assists manager in preparation of monthly and yearly reports.
Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
Accurately perform daily Reconciliation of Cash and Bank transactions.
Assists other Departments such as HR and Marketing for reviewing of expenses.
Assist with preparation and coordination of Audit process.
Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for Financial Statements (GAAP)
