Prepare an annual budget in excess of $1 million and oversee all expenditures.
Represent the school in all CVC, MCTA and NJSIAA matters.
Coordinate the athletic program in collaboration with the principal and coaches and ascertain programmatic needs on an annual basis, as well as prior to each season.

Complete an evaluation form and hold a conference with all head coaches at the conclusion of their sport season.
Prepare a master sports calendar that includes conference and non-conference games/events using the R-School Athletic Scheduling Program as well as the Notre Dame High School web site.
Schedule competition for all non-conference events/games.
Coordinate gym use for practices and games and give final clearance for the use of either the gym or the athletic field.
Contract all facilities off school property: ice hockey, swimming, golf.
Secure transportation and schedule all athletic departure times.
Work with Arbiter Computer Program and Assignors of Officials to schedule and arrange payment for all game officials.
Secure and oversee game workers for athletic contests, chain crews, announcers, clock operators, score keepers etc.
Coordinate the collection of rosters for program information as needed.
Act as a resource person and coordinator for all coaches.
Assist in supervision at home athletic contests and several away contests, particularly football and basketball.
Mediate the resolution of problems, issues, and concerns that may arise between coaches, students, parents and athletic programs.
Provide a channel through which students and the community may express their concerns about an athletic program.
Administer the school athletic code in a fair and consistent manner that is within the intent of the code.
Oversee the Athletic Trainer and the Sports Medicine Program.
Oversee and assign responsibilities to the Assistant to the Athletic Director.
Oversee Notre Dame Students who work as Athletic Department Interns via the ND Internship Program.
Order Post season awards for each program and hold Post Season Awards Ceremonies.
