I also worked in Southmead Hospital Bristol, United Kingdom as a Health Care Staff and finally worked with Family Health International (FHI360) as medical consultant in charge of HIV patient.

Dr Nasiru is a Clinician, Public Health Practitioner, GBV Specialist with over Six (6) years progressive experience in general and public health including USAID/PEPFAR and Global fund projects.

Work with the State epidemiologist to ensure infection prevention measures are strictly adhered to in the EOC and communication centre.

Conduct onsite assessment of isolation and treatment visits.

Handle/manage calls related to case identification, referral to care and case management specific to COVID-19 and other public health emergencies.

Follow up on information from treatment/isolation centres and facilitate virtual and in-person capacity building sessions for EOC staff and LGA response teams.

Support the development of state specific and IECs materials and dissemination at appropriate platforms.

Develop weekly reports on activities conducted and maintain updated directory of HRH distribution across LGAs in the state.

Coordinating and reporting the update of infection prevention and control in Hospital Setting to the State Program Manager AHNi/FHI360 Adamawa State, Nigeria.

Supported the optimization of comprehensive HIV and PMTCT services in the facility by instituting 80% PITC and maximized initiation, retention and VL suppression rates by age and sex band.

Strengthened the continual attainment of targets in HTC, ART, PMTCT and other HIV services.
