Civil Estimating (Sep – Dec 2019)

• Estimated major cut and fill project for given property drawing.

• Determined average depth of cut from given geo-technical report.

• Calculated a volume of top soil that has to be removed for entire property, cut and fill under the slab.

• Enumerated an important cut and fill for both kind of pavement, Asphalt pavement in parking lot and regular Gravel road.

• All the calculations were done by dividing the area (slab, parking lot and gravel road) into grid with the help of pre-assessed proposed and existing elevations.

• Fabricated a summary sheet containing calculation for all the building and coordinates, also a letter size drawing with red lines for the cut and blue for the fill. Commercial Building / Estimating (Jan - Apr 2019)

Imprint of Nano Silica on the Aging of Bitumen (Dec 2017 – Apr 2018) Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya Engineering College, Gujarat Technological University, India

• Properties of bitumen mixes change with time of aging which starts from bitumen manufacturing temperature which leads to distress of the pavement with ever changing climate.

• This project aims to improve the understanding effect of bitumen on short term ageing on its properties.

• In order to resist the ageing process the modifier nano-silica the particles are added in suitable doses and the properties are checked for its effectiveness.

• Also the analysis is made use in technique like FTIR and SEM so as to check the functional group in the polymer modified bitumen which help to prevent distress. Published Paper

• Published a critical review of the research entitled: Imprint of Nano Silica on the Aging of Bitumen, in

“International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET), ISSN 2321-9653(online)” 2018.

Concreting In High-rise Structure (Jun – Nov 2017) Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya Engineering College, Gujarat Technological University, India

• Case study of Green-Woods Aspire (G+20) building –Vadodara, India.

• Studied the current techniques, materials and professional practices adopted for concreting in high- rise structures and provided feasible solutions for the onsite problems according to case study.

• Workability is improved by minimizing the viscosity as a function of the aggregate content, while minimizing segregation and bleeding.
