Coordinator of multi-disciplinary team in the Craniofacial Unit, reporting to the Medical Director and the National Health Service, ensuring delivery of coordinated and timely care for highly complex patients. Administrative team lead for 35 administrative secretaries for the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Ear, Nose and Throat Department.

• Initiated regular monthly meetings with coordinator colleagues from four specialized craniofacial units across the United Kingdom, which resulted in increased cooperation between units and development of best administrative practices, resulting in improved service for these highly complex patients.

• Complied data, drafted and produced annual report for the Craniofacial Unit at the Oxford Radcliffe Hospital.

• Responsible for the successful introduction of outsourced audiotyping service and voice recognition software for the Departments of Plastic Surgery and Ear, Nose and Throat. Project reduced turnaround time, resulting in more complete patient records, and timely and appropriate patient care.

• Department of Plastic Surgery became beta testing department for introduction of new patient record and bookings systems at my instigation. Team’s feedback resulted in improvements and smoother roll out across other units and a more engaged team to major change processes.

• Managed site move for three departments to new hospital. Developed floor plans for each area utilizing existing furnishings. Move was accomplished with no records missing and all offices furnished to the satisfaction of staff and physicians.

• Planned, in collaboration with Craniofacial Unit team, first ever International Conference on Craniofacial Abnormalities, including booking venues, arranging catering, soliciting sponsorship from drug companies, and assembling conference packages.

• Coordinated with British Broadcasting Company filming of a special series about the Unit to spotlight the work done across the country with this patient population. Arranged for patients and families to share their stories, unit team members to be interviewed, and arranging permission for filming on the inpatient unit and operating room, and accompanying film crew at all times.
