Remote Electronic Throttle Control System Design via CAN Bus system 02/19-03/19

Modelled a Digital Controller (PID, Integrator Anti-Wind Up, Sensor Failure Detection) for remotely controlling the throttle using the sensor data from the pedal position and throttle body connected to the other ECU.

Established CAN bus communication between the two ECU, calibrated controller gains, scales and offset to achieve desired performance, validated the system using MIL and HIL procedures in MATLAB, MotoHawk and CANKing.

Electronic Fuel Injection Control (EFI) using MotoHawk-MotoTune with MIL and HIL Validation 01/19-02/19

Developed Simulink/MotoHawk model to read, calibrate the data from Potentiometer, Thermistor and Hall-Effect sensor interfaced with ECU565128. Actuated Fuel Injection control using Dual PSP block and simulated engine data.

Designed temperature compensation, protection models using GE NTCMA100 thermistor to improve injection control.

Autonomous Parking with Motor Speed Control and Obstacle Detection using CANoe 09/19-11/19

Designed a model in Arduino to collect the data using PeakCAN from the ultrasonic sensor via CAN bus communication and used it to design a control law controlling the motion and speed of DC motors of miniature bot.

Validated the model using MIL and HIL procedures in Vector CANoe by logging data from CAN bus using PCAN USB port, designed network nodes in CANoe database files and CAPL programs for network nodes and controller.

Designed Head Light Control and Viper Control models using LIN bus communication.

Simulated Instrument Cluster Network between ECUs (Engine, Economy mode and temperature predictor).Defined message transmission behavior for ECU nodes in database files, analyzed-validated configuration using Vector CANoe.

Designed simulation model of DC charging monitoring with messages transmission on CAN bus between an off- board charger and Battery Management System (BMS). Designed panel for monitoring with CAPL program developed to receive signal from engine ECU and sending messages for voltage, current and temperature on CAN bus.
