Description:

The Citywide Payment Services & Standards Program is responsible for maintaining all current receivables will be consolidated in a way that makes it easy for Agencies to be passed to one or more third-party service providers and for the payment information to be returned to the proper City systems for reconciliation purposes. This project provides integration of the agency system with the CPSS, in order for the agency to be able to send receivables to the CPSS and for the agency to receive payments through the CPSS against those receivables, as well as against retail payments. CPSS will provide an interface to the City’s Financial Management System (FMS) in order to report the revenue collected by CPSS on behalf of the agency.

So they interchange the transaction data through FTP and DB. World Fuel has 240 + SOA/BPEL complex composites, which includes 32 applications, 12 interfaces and 6 end systems with huge business dependency. Most of the World Fuel business will depend on SOA services, which polls the data from end systems and put into gateway and update the acknowledgement to the same.
