Mechanical Engineer at Nivitech Engineering Pvt. Ltd. June 2016 – June 2018 Production, Planning, and control. Specialized machining and surface finish for large parts with a diameter up to 2 meters. Replicating the part to the scale in CATIA and designing optimal tool path and cut depth. As every part is either different or in a small batch, no standardized process could be followed.

• Project 1: Calculation of Coordinates by Studying the drafted drawing in AutoCAD and imported to Mastercam for the part programme for a missile tip for the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Performed various measurements after every cut cycle to ensure perfect dimensions.

• Project 2: Surface finish for reuse of submarine torpedo indexing plates. Challenge was to calculate a cut deep enough to remove the rust with keeping the accuracy and usability of the indexing plate. Optimum cut depth calculated to minimize dimension changes.

• Project 3: Internal surface finish of 100 Kirloskar Diesel engine turbochargers. Challenge was the tool placement and time reduction to finish the batch on a single machine. Reduced time for the process time by 12%. Mechanical Engineer and Design Intern at Wooshin Engineering. May 2019 – July 2019 Creating CAD models of the required parts, often from scratch. Coordination with managers and shop floor staff. Explaining the changes through CAD drawings to shop floor staff. Creating design for improving efficiency and reducing costs along with team members. ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Robotics- Design of a robot arm with 6 D.O.F with two revolute joints and 4 transverse joints in SOLIDWORKS. A robot with 6 degrees of freedom was designed and a passive model was 3-D printed. The robot was then simulated using transformation matrices in MATLAB so as the end effector could be moved at any given point in 3D space. Advanced Manufacturing- Proposed changes to current MJF techniques by repeating of the fusion step twice. The expected outcome was better homogeneity, reduced porosity, reduction in air bubble trapping. Diploma Project- Amphibious Bicycle. Starting with the whole design on CATIA. Bicycle capable of treading on the water as well as land as built out of inexpensive material. The whole mechanism to transmit bicycle power to propellers underwater was designed from scratch with creative solutions to the issues faced. The total cost was only $80.

(Undergrad) BE Project- Automatic Engagement and Disengagement of Handbrake system using a Pneumatic system. The Handbrake system was designed in SOLIDWORKS, and a model was created with an automatic pneumatic system controlled with an ARDUINO circuit.

Material Selection- Calculated material indices according to requirements. Used CES selector software to find the best possible materials for given material indices.
