Dissertation/Thesis Title
Detailed Seismic Reflection Interpretation of Milano Area Integrated with the Petrophysics
Seismic interpretation includes the following steps
Preparation of base map (loading of data seg y, adding well).
Generating the synthetic seismogram.
Marking the horizons and faults picking.
Interpretation of fault polygon and gridding.
Time and depth contour map generation.
Petrophysics
For Petrophysical analysis following parameters is calculated for reservoir rock.
Volume of shale (Gamma ray log)
Porosity of reservoir (Sonic, Density and Neutron logs)
Water saturation (LLD, LLS and sp log)
Hydrocarbon Saturation Permeability of reservoir rock.
FIELD WORK (Salt Range)
I had performed field work at Khewra (salt range) and main purpose of the field work was to understand the structures, stratigraphy, and geology of the area.
I measured the strike by using the compass. Compass must be horizontal, with compass edge flush to the tilted plane. I measure the dip by placing the compass on its side perpendicular to the strike.
I had observed sakessor limestone which was highly fossiliferous.
Lithology
Nodules are present in it.
There is also chemical dissolution in its upper part.
Mostly it is composed of conglomerate, and it is also called tobra conglomerate and found shallow marine
Khewra formation
Type locality
Khewra gorge in the eastern salt range, Jhelum district, Punjab province.
Lithology
The part of khewra sandstone appear to be
Fine grained
Compact in form
Maroonish in colour
Age
Lower cambrian
All these formations help us to understand the salt range.
Experience
Worked at Rutledge International Pakistan from july 2018-august 2019 as Assistant Safety Officer
Main objective
interpret and map 2D and 3D seismic data.
report on collected seismic data to the team, clients, senior managers or partners at meetings and presentations.
assess potential oil and gas yield.
adapt data collection procedures.
improve existing techniques in data acquisition and mathematical processing, as well as seek to develop new techniques and methods.
Languages
English ( Fluent in oral and written)
Urdu(Fluent in oral and written)
Punjabi(native)
Knowledge of Software’s
Kingdom (SMT 8.8,Seismic Interpretation)
I have good command on kingdom software and I have performed my thesis on this software.
