I forgot my Netflix login or password.

Can't sign in to Netflix? You can reset your password by receiving a password reset email, or by receiving a text message if you've added your phone number to your account. If you've forgotten the email address or phone number you registered with, you may be able to provide additional information online to recover your account.

Reset your password by email

To reset your password via email:

Visit netflix.com/loginhelp.

Select the option to reset your password by Email.

Enter your email address and select Email Me.

Follow the steps in the password reset email you receive. The email will typically arrive within a few minutes, and contains a link that will sign you in to Netflix automatically. Once signed in, you'll be asked to create a new password.

Note:

If you choose to Require all devices to sign in again with new password during the reset process, please note that it may take up to 8 hours to fully disconnect all devices signed in to your account

The link in the email is expired.

The link in the email will expire after 24 hours, so be sure to use it as soon as possible. Please note that your new password cannot be the same as your previous password. If the link in the email has expired, don't worry -- you can always use netflix.com/loginhelp to send yourself another password reset email.

I sent myself the email, but never received it.

Check additional folders (i.e., spam, junk or promotions) and any email filters you've set up to make sure the message isn't being directed away from your email inbox.

If you cannot find the password reset email after checking your spam folder, try adding addufa@r.postjobfree.com to your contact list. Then send yourself a password reset email again.

If you still have not received the password reset email, there may be a delay with your email provider. Please wait 5 hours, then check your inbox again.

The link in the email isn't working for me.

Delete any Netflix password reset emails that you might have sent to yourself.

Once you've deleted the emails, go to netflix.com/clearcookies. This will sign you out and take you back to the home page.

Go to netflix.com/loginhelp.

Select the option to reset your password by Email.

Enter your email address and select Email Me.

Go back to your email and follow the steps in the new Netflix password reset email.

If you're still having trouble, use a different computer, smartphone, or tablet to access the email, then click the password reset link.

Reset your password by text message (SMS)

To reset your password via text message:

Visit netflix.com/loginhelp.

Select to reset your password by Text Message (SMS).

Enter the phone number associated with your account.

Select Text Me.

You will then be sent a verification code to enter to reset your password. This code will expire after 20 minutes, so be sure to use it as soon as possible.

Note:

If you choose to Require all devices to sign in again with new password during the reset process, please note that it may take up to 8 hours to fully disconnect all devices signed in to your account

My phone number isn't linked to my account.

If you have not yet added a phone number to your account, you will need to follow the directions above to reset your password by email. Once you have access to your account, you can add a phone number at any time by going to your Account page and selecting Add phone number. If the phone number on your account is no longer valid, you can go to your Account page and select Change phone number.

Recover your account login using billing information

If you are billed by Netflix and have forgotten your email address or phone number:

Visit netflix.com/loginhelp.

Select I don't remember my email or phone.

Enter the first and last name on the account, as well as the credit or debit card number on file.

Select Find Account.

Note:

If you are billed by Netflix but do not use a debit or credit card, please contact us to recover your login information.

If you are billed through a company other than Netflix and are unable to login:

If you pay for Netflix through one of our billing partners, please review our partner-related Billing FAQs for additional options to regain access to your account. To locate the Billing FAQs for your provider, search the Help Center for Billing FAQs with the provider's name (e.g., "Billing FAQs Vodafone"). In the Billing FAQ for your provider, refer to the section labeled "I’m billed by XXXX and I’m having trouble signing in to Netflix."
