Vice President and Head of Business Partner Communications 2010 – Feb. 2020 Led a global team of up to 12 responsible for linking the Global Communications group to business units, understanding business needs and applying the right communications messages, tactics and programs to help them achieve their objectives. Directed strategy, execution and problem-solving for internal and external corporate communications. Acted as a central communications counsel and resource for the CEO for senior management.

• Successfully evolved the company’s corporate narrative from that of a traditional publisher to a technology rich information and analytics company.

Recruited from the agency account team to assume role of public relations manager for the firm’s Global Private Client Group, Strategic Marketing and Brand Management.

• Led the financial service industry’s largest and most successful local public relations network, managing agency resources of $3.5 million and 140 spokespersons throughout the U.S. Increased both quality and quantity of placements year over year (1,600 placements and 270 million impressions in 2005).

• Developed and executed innovative content integration programs that delivered messages and replicated the client experience in controlled and compelling environments. • Network manager for local brand communications campaign for Merrill Lynch Global Private Client, a $3.5 million Key Client Relationship (KCR) account. Supported strategic account direction and program implementation supervising a staff of 19 and a network of 90 spokespersons in 16 markets.

• Oversaw budgeting, billing, staffing, performance reviews and team building. Performed media training, reviewed bylines, developed messages and managed media relationships for senior executives.
