• Create Broad timelines on the project using the scheduling techniques including micro schedule to client’s expectation, update the same weekly, monitor and manage the schedule.

• Setting up Project Specific goals, Milestones, timelines for daily planned targets which includes, site inspections, execution areas, delivery / procurement of materials.

• Seek daily updates from Project team (Construction Manager / Project Engineers & controls) and review the timeline with respect to the project schedule. Coordinate with concerned suppliers for expediting the delivery status and prepare a strategy to record & update the client on deliveries & schedules.

• Handling projects individually applying the engineering techniques and procedures, review of drawings, calculations and monitor works for compliance to applicable standards & best Engineering practices.

• Preparation of technical specifications for tenders, project scope, Resource planning, Man hour planning, project kick offs.

• Review/Check/ Prepare, tender documentation, projects reports (daily, weekly & monthly) keeping a track of schedule, RFI logs, Submittal logs & Drawings Logs.

• Value engineering approach for cost saving and other alternative solutions adding value to the project during design development and during construction.

• Project Management and Project Execution of Green field & brownfield Projects.

• Experience in working as EPC & PMC roles including project Engineering & interdisciplinary coordination.

• Create Project specific, pre- task plans on the project for the compliance health safety environment, throughout the project phase through permit system and strict enforcement.

• Provide alignment to the Safety Officers towards, project specific deliverables, and ensure contractors / Subcontractors for compliance to HSE.

• Conduct Weekly safety meetings, daily toolbox meetings, safety campaigns on the project and align the team for compliance.

• Introduce safety award techniques to encourage safety a key for all the project team. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

The details below brief about my extensive works done in different organizations on different projects starting with my latest and current job.

1. Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), Dubai, UAE: Sept 2013 to June 2020 as Engineer -Projects Projects:

• Propane Spheres (4849 cum capacity) and related piping from the berth line

• Additional Butane Tank (55m dia x 25m height tank) and the process piping facilities

• Modification works of bunded tank farm inside operating Terminal.

• Interlinking ENOC facilities with Gulf refinery company to supply Jet Fuel, Dubai

• Jet A1 Fuel Pipeline project between ENOC facilities & Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai. Key responsibilities:

• Design and review of the Civil / Structural deliverables for major Oil & Gas onshore EPC projects.

• Analysis & Design to check the structural Integrity of existing structure & strengthen the structures for carrying additional loads.

• Analysis & Design of Structural steel & RCC foundations for the oil storage terminals & Gas storage tanks & related process Plant structures.

• FEED & Conceptual design preparation of new structures / Rehabilitation of existing structures, Site Plot plans, General arrangement drawings & Plat Layouts.

• Design & execution of MCC substation / control room for Gas storage tanks.

• 3D Model reviews of projects: 30%, 60% & 90% model reviews and identifying clashes in the pre-engineering and construction stage.

• Expedite the project execution works, follow ups with the schedules and ensuring the contract compliance coordinating with Geotechnical investigation works for the proposed project sites.

2. Worley Parsons, Abu Dhabi, UAE: Jun 2012 to Apr 2013 as Project lead Engineer in PMC role Projects: De-lining facilities for reduction Area at Emirate Aluminum (EMAL).

• Analysis & design review of Pot delining facility, which consisted three facilities – of pot de-lining building, pot re-lining building & Pot-blasting building.

• Design review of Pot blasting/ Re-lining & De-lining structural steel building, blasting equipment foundation design, transfer car foundation.

• Design review of large capacity Crane girder design, Structural steel connection design calculations, fabrication drawings, GA Drawings.

• Design and construction of the milling machine-pit 5m below the de-lining pile-foundation

• Review of structural erection procedures, method statements and risk assessment, responding site engineering queries with sketches, Material approvals, Structural steel inspections and coordinating on daily activities to update the progress to the clients

• Project Engineering & Coordination with equipment suppliers and provide inputs to the civil/structural design office and ensure the same has been captured in the drawings for construction.

Key Responsibilities

• I was handling mainly two numbers of Warehouses with north-light roof trusses of large spans with a team of engineers.

• Target deliverables were: Optimized design of the roof trusses and preparation of detail drawings with connection details, RCC column & foundation - design & detail drawings

• Silo supporting RCC structure with Pile foundations.

• Preparation of document deliverable lists, calculation of man-hours and resource planning.

• Analysis & Optimised Design and drawing preparation of transfer towers & belt conveyors and review of the design & drawings.

• Design coordination with Tekla 3D modeling team to provide the connection details and designs for L &T Chiyoda as a client.

• Preparation of standard connection design templates as per IS800-2007 & BS for connections designs like; shear connection, axial connections & moment connections.

4. Fichtner Consulting Engineers, Bangalore, India: Dec 2009 to Jan 2011 as Sr. Design Engineer Projects:

• Korba west power Limited, India -2 x 660W – Thermal power plant

• Kaltim Prima Coal Project (KPC), Indonesia - 3 x 18MW – Power plant

• Responsible engineer for Mill & bunker bay, TG building, Electrical bay design & detailing and quantity estimates of structure along with foundations.

• Design of steel Silos and details for 1200MT capacity as per IS-9178

• Turbine generator Sub-structure foundation – using Finite element model

• Design feasibility of TG sub-structure with structural steel frames resting in conjunction on a RCC raft foundation

• FEED design, technical specifications, and preparation of layout drawings identifying the facilities required from the client

• Prepare the civil tender package, with preliminary designs of ESP, Boiler foundations, Mill & bunker bay building, TG building and MTO preparations

• Analysis & Design review of Structural designs and drawings of Pot Maintenance (PTM) and Cathode Sealing buildings outsourced to SNC – Lavalin, Mumbai office

• 3D model review & model checking using Tekla software for Potroom, PTM & cathode sealing buildings as per the Structural drawings and connection designs

• Analysis & design using Staad modeling for crucible cleaning, de-lining, re-lining building.

• Design of Crane Girders of 230MTon capacities performed manually using spread sheets and preparation of justification on the design appraisals.

• Responding site engineering queries with sketches required for the modifications when required. 6. Bechtel India Pvt Ltd, New Delhi, India: Mar 2006 to Mar 2008 as Civil/Structural Engineer Projects worked on:

• SOHAR Aluminium, Sohar, Oman.

• Yarwun II – Alumina Refinery plant, Brisbane, Australia. Key Responsibilites

• Standard Connection designs of the structural member for the project namely, Shear Connections, Bracing connections, Moment connections, Double column base plate connections.

• Coordination with detailing team to model the connections in Tekla software.

• Analysis, design & detailing of Silo supporting, Alumina fluoride, blower room structures with special connections and foundation designs.

• Worked as an area lead and was responsible for the pipe-rack longing 2.5Km by coordinating with other disciplines and the clients on the progress.

7. Larsen & Toubro, Chennai, India: Jul 2004 to Mar 2006 as Sr. Design Engineer Projects:
