Summary of Experience

Over 25 years of experience in a project management environment - from proposal preparation, planning / scheduling, project cost control, thru project engineering, estimating, and project controls for EPC project execution, FEED(FEL) & BEP package preparation, detail engineering, procurement, construction management, construction and steel shop fabrication exposure for petrochemical, refinery, power, oil & gas, mining and infrastructure industry.

As Lead Planner Scheduler - prepare/develop Primavera (P6) and MS Project Schedules for Baseline and IPA issues, periodic progress update of Primavera Project Schedules from FEL (define), detail engineering phases, and EPC schedules during project execution and for proposals issues; project periodic physical progress measurement and reports utilizing project deliverables' Earned Value and excel-based physical progress measurement tools.

As Cost Engineer - initial project budget set-up and coding, prepare project monthly cost report, cost control-monitor expenditures and commitments, forecast assessment/estimate to complete, cash flow forecast, cost estimation, tracking of trends and change orders; monthly physical progress reports preparation for engineering, procurement and construction, utilizing in-house developed physical progress measurement tools and customized graphs and curves as per project or client's requirements.

As an estimator- material take-off and cost estimation, conversant with construction drawings from P&IDs, plot plans, piping plans and piping isometrics, civil and steel drawings, electrical one-line diagram, equipment GA drawings, architectural plans, instrumentation data sheets and specifications, vendor drawings and very good knowledge on basic and detail design engineering and documentation.

Oct to Dec-2014 – KGMH Victoria Project FEL3 Phase - a multi-billion copper-nickel mining project-Hatch Sudbury undertook the early engineering work - Assisted to finalize and issue FEL3 Schedule, weekly progress updates of the engineering schedule to support periodic progress reporting to client and internal reporting.

Aug to Sep-2014 – Early engineering phase (small projects) - Petrochad Krim Project FEL2) – Planner Scheduler, project schedule set-up and development, periodic weekly progress updates and issue weekly schedule reports for Internal and Client’s Project Progress Monthly Reports attachments; Planner Scheduler for various proposal preparation at Hatch Calgary home office (small projects and proposals) - Responsible for proposal project schedule set-up and development; Any other Planning and Scheduling functions to support project controls department and other on-going project requirements;
