Position: Front Desk Officer/Class Administrator

As the Front Desk Officer I am responsible for the day to day management and maintenance of the school s front office to ensure a clean, healthy, safe and habitable environment for pupils, parents and visitors. My other responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Ensuring that the front office remains properly cleaned at all times;

Managing and coordinating the reception area and to ensure smooth operation;

Receiving and screening of visitors to the school and its offices;

Receiving, answering and screening of telephone calls before connecting calls to staff members;

Receiving incoming mails for the Head Teacher and other Teachers;

Liaising closely with the official security outfit at the gate and ensuring security, monitoring of visitors in and around the school;

Monitoring of staff movement register operated by the security guards as well monitoring and screening of the movement of persons to the school;

Performing secretarial duties such as photocopying and filing of documents, assisting in setting up and connecting conference calls;

Receiving and delivering messages and responding to enquiriesfrom parents and others;

Responding to all ad-hoc requests for assistance;

Monitoring supply of newspaper on a daily basis;

Performing of other duties as assigned by the Head Teacher.
