·Ensured customers’ satisfaction, answered any questions that customers had, reported customers’ orders to the kitchen staff, influenced customers to keep giving us their business.

VOLUNTEER WORK

·Skating Lessons Volunteer

oHelped kids learn how to skate and taught them techniques that I have learned from my coaches in the past. Encouraged kids to never give up and just keep working on their technique.

·Pancake Day

oVolunteer each year to help make pancake batter for my church on a certain day each year to help raise money for the church.

·Orientation Leader

oHelped incoming freshmen at Carthage College feel comfortable as soon as they arrived on campus. I led them to several different activities, gave them a simple tour of the campus, and answered any questions they had in the best way I could.

·Carthage Activities Board

oI have been involved in this student-led organization that helped bring entertainment to the students on campus at Carthage College by creating multiple different activities for the students throughout the school year.

oI helped market many different events by putting up posters to bring awareness of the events, sending out e-mails, etc.

·Resident Assistant (Office of Residential Life)

oI was the head of my floor for a residence hall at Carthage College. I made sure all of my residents were respecting the rules, created engaging activities to help build community on the floor, and I helped my residents with any difficult situation they may be facing in their personal lives, as well as many other duties.
