Resume: SolidWorks PDM Administrator
Background: SolidWorks Trained EPDM/PDM vault administrator. Seven years’ experience creating and administrating SolidWorks for various employers. I designed and managed the PDM vault at Terra Power creating their first automatic drawing release system, as well as writing instructional documentation covering the use of the vault.
At HKX during my time as PDM Vault Administrator, I improved the efficiency of their CAD Document controls and EPDM Vault adding viewing and released document controls to insure released models could not be modified without a revision procedure.
My position of Vault Administrator Kymeta and Seattle Safety.at Seattle involved maintaining and improving their CAD Vaults, where I designed the automatic release process for drawing documents; created process and procedure documents and automatic workflow systems.
Much of this work as a PDM Administrator for Terra Power, Kymeta, and Seattle Safety was performed remotely.
In addition to my experience as a PDM Administrator I also have 26 years of experience in the following, highly skilled in Solid Modeling, Drafting, CAD Department Management, Authoring of Process, and Standards Documents. Nuclear Reactor design, Industrial Products, UAV aircraft design, Heavy Machinery Tool Design, Small Component Tool Design, Industrial Piping Systems, Chemical Plant Piping Systems, Creating of Marketing Videos using SolidWorks Models, Toyota Production System, Lean Manufacturing, and Life Cycle Design, Review of drawings for conforming to company, ISO, and ASME standards including GD&T; Writing process and standards documents and administrator for CAD Engineering Document Release.
My skills are especially suited to an organization that requires an experienced resource that will help in the launching of a new product by designing prototype parts and tooling conforming to Lean Manufacturing Principals; improving the production of current products and assisting in the problem solving capabilities of your production and tooling teams.
