I provided contract oversight and staff supervision to support the Network Enterprise Center’s (NEC) telephone/data system at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR). My management duties included: Reporting and corresponding with the COR for the contract. Dealt with any issues that arose with contracted employees of Vista Sciences Corporation. Approved and signed off on weekly timesheets and leave requests; Assured that there was proper coverage that met the core hours of the contract; Conducted weekly reports for both the COR and the Branch Chief; Met weekly with Technical Representative to give status updates on current or pending work orders. Conducted Annual performance appraisals; Conducted site inspections, evaluations and cost estimates with the Governments Requirements team. Distributed task to appropriate support personnel and monitored staff performance (Quality Assurance Program); reported any damaged equipment, cabling repair or safety concerns to the proper personnel. Lead Installer Technical duties included: Training personnel on installation requirements and procedures; oversaw installation of phone systems that included Voice Over IP (VOIP) phone systems, Meridian Phone Systems, IBN phone systems and helping with setting up Video Teleconferencing (VTC). Other Duties included telephone moves within a building, transferring phones from one building to another, adding appearances on specific phone systems along with programming specific phone systems; provided wire drops that included (CAT 5e, 6, 7), Installation of 110 and 66 blocks, Internal ringers, ISDN, ICIDS, and T-1 circuits, GANG boxes, outside weather enclosures, Elevator phones, Fiber patch cords and troubleshooting on fiber along with troubleshooting on all phone lines and equipment.
