PROJECT DETAILS

Project Title: Effect of brachyura shell particles on glass fiber reinforced epoxy polymer composite Description: The main objective of the project is to understand the preparation, characterization and mechanical behavior of the crab shell powder reinforced epoxy composite. We have also identified the efficiency of the composite based on the hardness, tensile strength, impact strength & slexural. The SEM test was challenging part of the project which deals with analyzing the fibre bonds. Machines Used: Vickers Hardness Tester, Impact Tester, SEM, UTM-201 Machine. Role: I can say that I played different roles in this project. I always maintained proper interaction between the team members. I was also an implementer of our group by turn the team ideas and thoughts in to actual plan. My major contribution to this project was at the analyzing phase which lead me through various challenges to understand and start for the deliverables. TECHNICAL SKILLS

• My field of interest has always been in "Carbon-Nanotube technology" and also gained knowledge in its production.

• "Cast-Iron production" has laid me good foundation for understanding the type of metals and working efficiently with them for various scenarios.

• Exposure to "Powder Metallurgy" has strengthened my skills in knowing about the multiple ways to produce metal powder by using different methodologies with respect to Physical, chemical and mechanical.

• The process involved in "Steel Making" and "Strengthening Mechanisms" has created an interest in me to gain knowledge in depth and looking forward for an opportunity to enhance my skills in the fields.

INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE

• Underwent training in Sinter plant which exposed me to production of raw materials, Gained knowledge about making steel using Blast Furnace & Laddle Furnace in "Steel Plant, Visakhapatnam."

• A technical orientation in "DRDO(DMRL), Hyderabad" has provided an opportunity for efficient learning and also exposure to study of machines and understand the Project Life cycle on site, Requirements gathering phase and Requirements Analysis phase. POSITIONS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organized camps for "NTR Blood Trust".

• Being a member of "Help the Helpless" foundation, Laid Campaigns to help the needy with the basic needs and educate the society about understanding their helplessness and motivating them to take a step forward for a social cause.

• Organized many camps, Motivational gatherings and Educational workshops as part of NSS program.
