I am a calibre Dairy Technologist with over 20 years of rich experience with leading Dairy/beverages & food companies in the Middle East.

Since July 2018, I have been working with the Mazoon Dairy green field project, Sultanate of Oman as a Production/Quality Manager and managing the project from the approval stage of plant layout, equipment layout, equipment installation and commissioning stages and support the new Product Development team and developed Fresh /UHT dairy and Juices variants. After successful commissioning of the processing and Fresh filling lines, the Production operation is going in full-fledged starting from October 2019.

Prior to Mazoon Project, I have worked with National Food Products Company (NFPC) in UAE as a Quality Manager (QC/QA) in Lacnor factory. Apart from that I also worked with reputable and large companies like Al Rawabi Dairy, UAE, Almarai Company KSA, Petra Food Manufacturing Company Kuwait, Al Ain Dairy Factory UAE and NADA Dairy KSA. This exposure has enabled me in gaining comprehensive expertise in production management, New Dairy projects, Quality Assurance, New product Development (R&D), Food Safety management, Cost management & waste control (Lean Management), Team Management and Competency assessment & Building team.

My experience covers Chilled products (Fresh Milk(cow’s/camel milk)and Juices), Long life (UHT) products (Milk, juices and Tomato paste)in Tetrapak & Combibloc aseptic system, Frozen products (ice creams), Cultured dairy products (laban, yoghurts), Cheeses (White,Areesh, Feta cheese), fruit pulp canning and bakery products.

National Food Products Company (NFPC) – Dubai – Worked in Lacnor Site Quality Manager role and Looked after the Processing part (Design and value engineering) in the mega project (Fresh and UHT products –Milk/Juice/Tomato paste) (Tetra Pak for UHT, Krones for Fresh) -Project Cost AED 1.2 Billion

Almarai Company, KSÁ – Managed and successfully completed the installation & commissioning of,

1.New UHT plant (GEA, Germany) – 30 KL/hr and 3 aseptic tanks (60 K capacity each).

2.High speed (30 K & 51 K bottles/hour) juice bottle filling lines. (Federal fillers)

3.High speed aseptic Combibloc filling lines (CB 124 -24 K packs/hour) (Combibloc, Germany)

Petra Foods, Kuwait, - Managed and Successfully Completed the installation & commissioning of,

1.New UHT plant (8 K capacity- APV, Denmark) and high speed Combibloc lines (24 K/hr)

2.Upgrade projects of existing ice cream, dairy & juice plants (manual to semi-automated)

3.Relocated Existing Bakery production lines to new site and successfully run the production.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

MAZOON DAIRY COMPANY, Sultanate of Oman - July 2018, to till date.

The green field project worth of 100 Million OMR having the facility to produce diversified dairy, Dairy products (Fresh&Longlife), Juices (Fresh&Longlife), Ice cream and Long-life Cheese under one umbrella. The Dairy plant has the facility to produce 0.5 million litres dairy/juice/cheese/ice cream products on a daily basis. The equipment’s are commissioned, and the commercial production started from October 2019.

Designation: Quality Manager (QC/QA) – From February 2020 – till date

Report to: CEO (Chief Executive Officer)

Re structured the organization and reporting was aligned with CEO to reinforce the product quality functions in the factory and in marketplace.

Manage the Chemical and Microbiological laboratory and assign the job responsibility to QC/QA supervisors.

Developed Quality system and implement effectively in each stages of plant operation starting from Raw Milk reception to the finished Products in the market shelf.

Assure the finished products quality meets the internal and GSO standards in terms of food safety and Quality prior to release to the market.

Reporting of Daily Quality activities (DQR) to management and escalate any critical issues in the production to take appropriate decision.

Prepare supplier and Market Audit calendar (Raw /Packaging Materials/FG products) and organize the audit as per the plan.
