Senior Technical Trainer

Design and deliver instructor led classroom training, develop interactive Web/Computer based content and instructor led/facilitated Distance Learning, including needs assessment, learning objectives, student certification, tracking and follow-up measurement on complex electromechanical equipment. ISC Project Management Specialist Lead

Coordinate all tooling and fixture shipments. This includes coordination with GS&I, ME’s, HTSI, and the 404 department managers. Insure all the export compliance requirements are being met and shippers are coded correctly. Coordinate with HTSI for the identification of consumable tooling; insure all necessary consumable tooling gets shipped to HAO in time to meet fair dates, and insuring proper order of transition shipments’. Coordinate the transition of Gages, including the calibration if necessary. My program management skills and leading others was essential to maintain on time shipping to HAO. Work with HAO to track receipts and closure of shipments. Assigns, monitors, and plans budget hours of the work group.

Associate Engineer VI

Under limited supervision, performs a variety of technical tasks of increased complexity including installation, testing and minor repairs of equipment. Leads, consults, and mentors’ employees within and outside the work group. Complexity of assignments typically requires considerable creativity and judgment to devise approaches to accomplish work, and to resolve design and operational problems. Supervisor or professional engineer provides advice on unusual or controversial problems or policy matters. Completed work is reviewed for compliance with overall project objectives. Builds, maintains, troubleshoots and prepares equipment. I performed preventative maintenance and calibrations of equipment and systems. I needed to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling equipment. Constructs major units of equipment, devices, or prototype models. Troubleshoots and corrects malfunctions using specialized test and diagnostic equipment. Assist in redesigns as necessary. I assist in the planning of tests to evaluate equipment performance. Determines test requirements and procedures and conducts tests of installed system/equipment using various types of instruments. Performs complex operational tests to assure modifications produce desired outputs. I participated in process improvement initiatives to provide timely, cost-effective, quality services. Prepares operating and malfunction reports. Records and evaluates data and reports findings. I served as lead resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues. Technical Trainer I (E3000, E3200)

Conduct classroom and hands-on operation and maintenance courses to customers for ASM’s E3000and E3200 Tool sets, internal staff, and field support personnel both in-house and on-site. I trouble shooting field service issues pertaining to tool sets. Assist engineering department with redesign of safety and other devices related to tool sets. Create new course ware training modules and maintenance procedures for new tool sets. Revise lesson plans and instructor handbook. Assist in preparing training aides and student handout using the prescribed ASM America formats for two separate tool sets. Maintain equipment, class records and coordinate facility preparation for courses conduct. Conduct on site customer training to both domestic and international locations as required.

Field Service Engineer (E3000, E3200)

I performed installations, preventative maintenance and remedial repair maintenance on complex electronic / electro-mechanical semiconductor capital equipment at ASM America’s global customer locations for ASM’s E3000and E3200 Tool sets. Created and maintained a high level of customer delight through advanced customer service skills, implementing fast, quality responses to internal and external customers while maintaining a safety first mentality. Traveled 25-75% to both domestic, and international locations as required.

Electronics Engineering Technology

Experience with utilizing Oscilloscope, Digital Volt – Ohm Meter, Spectrum Analyzer in successfully completed assembling, trouble shooting, and analyzed electronic circuitry for laboratory experiments and class projects with 480 hours of lab time. Utilized Microsoft Visio, MultiSim, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word to complete the documentation for the final report and the presentation to the TAC board for graduation. Utilized Oscilloscope, digital volt – ohmmeter throughout the course of the portable experiment kit project, microprocessor controlled carwash, and the wireless video transmitter for radio controlled cars project. Team designed and built the transmission circuitry to meet the requirements set forth by the TAC board for graduation. Team produced for a wireless video transmission camera mounted to a radio-controlled car for use by hobbyists with a heads up display and presented for senior project. Designed and built a portable laboratory experiment kit, Experiment kit consisting of a power supply able to produce 5 volts DC, 12 volts DC, variable 24 volts DC, frequency generator able to produce sinusoidal, square, triangular, and saw tooth wave forms, and a frequency counter.

Software Applications

Completed programs in Assembly and C++ used for programming ROM chip for an 8088 based - micro controller board and verified completion of laboratory experiments. Wrote code to interface for both Intel and Motorola based micro- processor boards and verified completion of laboratory experiments. I completed programs in C++ and verified completion of computer programming assignments. I wrote programs in Assembly language and verified completion of experiments.

Worked with a group of men from the Tacoma hilltop community to help guide the young men of that community in a more positive direction.

These young men have grown into productive citizens in their community.
