West Coast Area Manager, Contingency & Deployable Logistics, Alameda, CA, 7/2019 – Present

Provide strategic contingency world-wide planning support for deployable afloat assets. Oversee daily and long-range operational husbanding logistics and contracting support to include mooring, parts oversight, fuel, provisions, shipping, and personnel movement for over 200 deployable assets. Provide comprehensive support, guidance, and supervision to area and incident commanders as a logistical subject matter expert. Evaluate full scale continuity operations exercises to ensure readiness of business leaders and essential personnel for disaster recovery efforts.

Key Achievements:

Created responsive and results-oriented support staff resulting in decreased audits errors from ~ 20-30 per week costing $20,000-$35,000 per week to 0 errors per week, savings over $1.3M annually.

Substantially improved planning and readiness of West Coast assets for deployments through comprehensive partnerships with DoD; reduced underway frustrations and improved endeavors.
