Duties, Roles & Responsibilities :

Implement the HSE functions, Operational Excellence and Loss Prevention compliance reviews and assist the organization in achieving its HSE Line Management responsibilities. Provide full safety organization in different operational areas through implementation of SMS, standards, policies and procedures. Participate and perform audits, safety inspections, risk assessment/analysis, incident investigation, and root cause analysis. Assist department organization to follow up on recommendations with appropriate reports to Department Management. Produce detailed reports using the TapRoot methodology that includes SMARTER recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.

Make continuous onsite inspections of petrochemical, Gas & offshore drilling and work over sites to evaluate the adequacy of the safety programs, advising on compliance with D&WO SMS, Contractor SMS, Aramco standards, policy, procedures and instructions. Advise management on deficiencies with corrective actions affecting operations compliance to company accepted standards.

Measure compliance to the D&WO SMS by contractor compliance audits and continuous periodic rig and worksite inspections. Complete written reports accurately reflecting the results of audits and inspections. Monitor and evaluate safety program controls and management systems; identify deficiencies and recommend practical improvements, guide and assist management where practical with their implementation and participate in selected formal assessments of program management systems.
