Model finisher

The Model Finisher is responsible for the safe cleaning and finishing of RP models in accordance with customer requirements. Identifying quality non-conformances related to build issues, parts cleaning, support removal, sanding and dry-blasting.

I have a basic understanding of the IT tools and systems used to manage backlog, bookings, shipments and all necessary reporting requirements

I have a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures needed to ensure orders ship on time

I have provided guidance as well as direction to production cells regarding sales order priority, engineering change orders (ECOs), technical change orders (TCOs), product ship authorizations (PSAs) and quality issues

Unit Tester

•Responsible for the Hi-Pot Testing for final assembly of EMC units were I then connect the unit to Hi-pot machine and transfer electric currents thru the unit to test for any melt downs of the unit’s components

•Load up the units up for the actual systems test in which run for 12 hrs.

Post Function Test / Assembly

•Responsible for connecting switch board systems for the telecom frames and give the frames a test before final test and also the soldering of the switch boards

•Soldered the components on the PCB by thru hole soldering

•Mounted components on the boards with the SMT placement machines where 1st the board went thru the paste machine 2nd thru the component machine 3rd off to the solder reflow machine

•Boards are checked for any mistakes with component placement

•Certain components are hand soldered on the board or if missed when placed thru the machine then the board is checked again before it’s sent thru the oven

Unit Assembly

•Responsible for the assembly of the unit “Double drawer” that was assembled to the telecom system frames

•Built the drawer unit then the unit is then placed and bolted to the telecom frame

•Plugged the telecom switch board packs into the slot in the order process

Systems Testing

Primarily responsible for the accurate performance of the laptop IBM Think Pad in which I tested for visual, audio, keyboard, and systems performance
