• Oversees distribution operations including ensuring compliance with procedures, material handling practices, safe work habits and state and federal regulations.

• Assures development and implementation of sourcing strategies and systems that identify and qualify raw material and component suppliers capable of meeting cost, quality and delivery requirements.

• Drive operational excellence, combining both strategic and tactical change, and developing a Supply Chain team, which has the skills, responsiveness, ability and commitment to meet or exceed required business results.

• Establish key metrics across supply chain to track key deliverables/priorities.

• Build and sustain a culture of collaboration and teamwork between cross-functional teams.

• Oversee and guide the partnership with Sales and Marketing to manage demand and customer service processes, including the identification and support of new business opportunities. Analyze marketing forecasts and launch strategies to assess the impact on material requirements, cash flow, manufacturing capacity or other potential constraints. Identify situations / opportunities / issues / market conditions and economic indicators, including upcoming contract expirations and plan actions to realize cost reductions and process improvements on an ongoing basis.
