ROLE : FIELD ENGINEER

Hindustan Organic Chemicals Ltd, Kochi.

From July 2018 to July 2019.

Knowledge in processing and manufacturing of petrochemicals like Phenol, Acetone, Cumox Oil, Propylene etc.

Knowledge and experience in handling chemical process equipments.

Monitoring and controlling process parameters from control panel and coordinating with the field status.

Plant monitoring, Plant reading and Maintaining log sheet.

Check for any abnormalities and reporting to the concerned departments.

Ensuring safety of the personnel and the plant while carrying out production as per the production plans.

Carryout safe Shut down, Startup procedure for Fractionation section.

Basic Knowledge on PFD, P&ID.

Ensure preventive maintenance of equipments and instruments.

Co-ordinate with DCS Operation(Yokogawa Centum CS 3000). EQUIPMENTS HANDLED: Single Stage and Multi Stage Pumps, Air and Gas Compressors, Filters, Reboiler and heat exchanger, Evaporators(Thin film), firefighting and fire prevention system equipment, Fire extinguishing systems such as Deluge system, fire hydrant, fire monitoring system and all other types of fire extinguishers.

Completed Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Chemical Engineering from Government Engineering College, Kozhikode, Kerala, 2013-2017 with 69.2%

Completed 12th Science in 2012 from Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1, Kozhikode with 83.2%

Completed 10th Board exam in 2010 from Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1, Kozhikode with 75% Achievements

Qualified GATE 2020 with a RANK 1783

Skill Set

Trained with MS Office (Excel, Word, Power point)

Good Knowledge in Chemical Engineering subjects
