With 14 Years of refinery construction experience which includes large piping/mechanical projects with experience both hands on, and in a management role. The work I have done have been with a strong focus on safety and quality. Directing multiple crafts & crew in efforts to bring projects to a close with zero injuries and on schedule. Able to perform multiple functions that include monitoring project cost/ production, working with a large group to ensure team success, both as managing supervisor and tank entry supervisor. I have also been very strong in the area of job safety planning incorporating all aspects of a construction project. I have had nearly 14 years of construction experience (petrochemical) I would consider it a huge accomplishment to have not had or involved and any osha recordable injuries in over 10 yrs.

Inspect above ground storage tanks according to API 2015 & 2016 (Tank entry supervisor) Prior to personnel entry. This was a crucial role do to storage tanks accounting for numerus deaths in the petro chemical industry

Review isometric drawings to verify system can be constructed as planned.

As Tank entry supervisor my responsibilities were ensuring all above ground storage tanks in the process of repair/turn around remain safe a suitable conditions to work in.

Verifying items pertaining to roof stabilization such as roof thickness, proper leg schedule, positive isolation, vertical/lateral/anti-rotational supports of floating roofs, and proper ventilation of every confine space. Any and all safety precautions according to API 2015/2016

As Construction supervisor I was tasked with maintaining a capable group of various crafts needed to accomplish work put before our team.

Review isometric drawings and provide detailed estimates along with an in depth safe work execution plan for all projects

Lead daily safety meetings to discuss current work and the potential hazards involved in that work.

During this time with Transfield, I was responsible for assisting with the fabrication/ installation of piping systems this included rigging, bolting and operating various equipment.

Removing/placing storage tanks in and out of service which includes valve replacement, roof seal removal, roof leg replacement, mapping out internal components for demo and replacement, also operational assistance with air freeing and degassing.
