Cnc machinist/Cell Lead/Shop Lead
· In my 20+ years experience machining aircraft parts. I have been a Cell Lead, Shop Lead, Production Supervisor, and a Quality Control Inspector.
· Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
· Modify cutting programs to account for problems encountered during operation and save modified programs.
· Calculate machine speed and feed ratios and the size and position of cuts.
· Set up and operate manual, and computer-controlled three, four, and five axis machines to perform one or more machine functions on workpieces.
· Review program specifications or blueprints and set up future jobs while machines are operating.
· Write simple programs for computer-controlled machine tools.
Quality Control Inspector
· First part buy off, and First Article inspection
· Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, and finished goods.
· Calibrate, validate, or maintain laboratory equipment.
· Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
· Participate in out-of-specification investigations and recommend corrective actions.
· Perform visual, or precise measurement inspections of finished products.
Production Supervisor
· Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
· Conduct employee training in equipment operations, work, and safety procedures.
· Recommend or implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
· Hire, train, evaluate, or discharge staff or resolve personnel grievances.
· Review schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning staffing requirements, or duty assignments.
· Set and monitor product standards, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
· Interact with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
