CAREER BACKGROUND

A 16 year plus career history, began my career starting from 1999, worked in the prestigious environment of :

8 years in Behbehani watches and Jewellery, being a Planner, Inventory controller, Audit checks, including standards, hence overviewing 15 showrooms containing Luxury Watches and Jewellery namely Cartier, Piaget, Omega, Tissot, Movado, Blancpain, Movado, Piaget, Glashutte, Jaeger-Le-Courte, Korloff etc…

2 years in SupremeFood services, Ministry of Defence as Planner and Purchaser, a wonderful experience of ordering food supply 160 lines from UK to British Forces in Iraq, using Kuwait as base. Dealt with supplier credits, damages, returns, write offs. Worked with direct reporting to GM, directing and empowering warehouse of 30 manpower, with one immediate assistant. An unforgettable work experience with real-time presence of British soldiers in requesting supplies and cross checking orders placed.

6 years plus in the Luxury Fashion business at Alshaya,@Harvey Nichols as Department Manager. Actively and heavily involved in stock systems, in depth knowledge on GFM scanners, Barcoding softwares and machines, managed heavy intakes at time of launching the brands and the opening of the store @2012. Overviewing and responsible for stock intake, exits to suppliers, transfers to warehouse, namely brands over 300 such as Chopard, Valentino, Balmain, Kenzo, Gucci, Zuhair Muraid, Tadashi, Aigner etc..

Have actively welcomed local concessionaires to receiving stock and guided them on the process of intake. Have achieved Extra Mile Award in Alshaya for Harvey Nichols store. Have been selected as Stock-take Champion for MH Alshaya and, maintained excellent results of -0.25 shrinkage 2017, -0.37 shrinkage 2016. Audit compliance support. HARVEY NICHOLS, Luxury Store at Grand Avenues under M.H. AL Shaya, KUWAIT. Owning well-known brands across the store. Some of which are Alexander Mcqueen, Fendi, Djihan, Reasons, Valentino, Pavoni, DVF, Anya, Manolo Blahnik, Dolce Gabbana, Tuvanam, Marni etc.. dealing with Control of stock across all departments, Contemporary wears, Evening, Designer, Mens and Kids, even Footwear, Luxury Bags and Jewellery.

Very Actively responsible at the Opening of the first Luxury Store in Phase III Grand Avenues in KUWAIT. Actively grouped team in receiving 85000 units by 1 week from the Distribution Centre.

Gathered knowledge on GFM scanner and Paxar Pathfinder guns.

Responsible for the Department Manager role, 9 stock holding areas each having a massive capacity of 17000 units and more.

Department Manager

Coordinating the following works in connection with the suppliers, shop floor,warehouse, Merchandisers and buyers.

Communication and Coordination on 9 Department Managers on a daily basis. Highly Bonus driven. Directing and overviewing a team on below tasks.

Receiving stock from well know suppliers such as ALOTHMAN, PAUL AND SHARK, Habchi Chaloub, Trafalgar, even Local Designers ..

Ticketing, pricing the individual stock of the whole shop. Assigning the crew to check in the deliveries from the Distribution Centre.

Lead role in organizing stock, sale projects and movement of stock to departments and across floor and seasonal returns back to concessionaires.

Solely, responsible and participant for the setup of the machines for pricing/ barcoding at shop.

Working even in detail of the matter when it comes to fashion and luxury, security tagging, ticketing and Quality checks.

Incharge and sole trainer of a team of 20, Assigning them with daily tasks of scanning, pricing and furnishing merchandise on floor. Loading guns with pricing data at seasonal sale events and promotions.

Authorizing GRN’s in the system after matching against the delivered packing lists and liase with merchandisers for sale and stock reports.

Daily contact with the buyers/ Merchandising/Marketing team for issues regarding to stock in and out and price. Filing paper work as per AlshayaSOP, empowered a team of 4 for the same and trained them.

ALSO have dealt with Store selling, over turnover being 18 million dinar 2017.

PLANNING AND PURCHASE

Coordinating the following works in connection the food/ water/disposable/material supply to the British Military forces in Iraq, the British Embassy and Consulate staff.

Experience in the field of Purchase/ Inventory Control and warehousing.

Involved in Procurement of all kind of Food and Non Food Stuffs (Fresh, Chilled, Ambient, Frozen and Disposables) from the supplier in UK and from Kuwait Local Suppliers on weekly basis.
