Dear Hiring Manager:

Please accept this cover letter and resume in response to your job posting for a Scheduling Manager and Executive Assistant to the CEO. I supported the executives, managers, supervisors and co-workers for several years. I treat all projects, assignments and tasks with urgency and importance. As the assistant to the Chief Operations Officer at Fire and Police Pension Association (FPPA), I arranged meetings and conferences, prepared agendas and coordinated travel. The assistant position was in the development stage when I first came to FPPA. I was able to expand the role from its original version to include many other types of responsibilities: responsibilities that utilized my talents and experience thereby enabling the COO to focus on other tasks. I am energetic and dedicated. I thrive on multiple projects and deadlines. I have past experience supporting co-supervisors as well as experience supporting multiple managers. My most recent position at Ludvik Electric was supporting a team of project managers (Construction Managers, Project Managers and Project Coordinators). This position allowed me to be the final point of review for documents and contracts; functioning as a safety net for accuracy and professional appearance, presenting consistency to all documents from the team.

I have further experience assisting personnel with travel arrangements that include international travel and visa applications. When I supported the president of Power Marketing Group, I routinely assisted with her arrangements to travel “around the world” as she scheduled customer visits in such countries as Australia, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan. She would usually conclude those trips in Paris or London, flying home through the opposite coast. Once she returned, I would compile her expense reports, including converting foreign currency expenses for reimbursement. I have experience with Bills of Lading, visas and conducting business with many cultures.

I have over ten years’ experience converting and transforming data for upload into different systems as a data analyst. I have excellent organizational skills and handle projects efficiently and effectively. I work as well independently as I work with others. My professional image is seen in my initiative to complete assignments on my own and my positive attitude in tackling all types of projects. I enjoy finding creative and entertaining ways to communicate ideas and solve problems. Please contact me via email, addpqj@r.postjobfree.com, or cell, 303/594-2207. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Sharon DeRouen
