Key Deliverables:

Quantity Surveying and Contract Management:

Record and monitor all site activities and costs being expended on the project.

Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.

Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.

Prepare, submit and negotiate project interim valuation and final accounts.

Prepare sub-contractors payments and record/monitor of all site works.

Preparation of monthly commercial reports in conjunction with PM and site team.

Reconciliation of materials and works executed during the month.

Assist in preparation and adherence to project purchasing targeting and costing budgets.

Communicate regularly with project staff and specialist subcontractors to ensure commercial controls are in place, understood and followed at all times

Manage and produce accurate formal reports in accordance with business timetable

Supply all relevant information to the Project Manager/ Senior Management for review at the specified intervals set.

Assist the Project Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor and/or Contracts Manager with a range of other duties as may be required from time to time.

Played a crucial role as a part of team, advice and negotiate terms revisions, variation offer requests, change orders and claims in conjunction with management.

Liaise with Legal and Finance departments on all legal and commercial requirements.

Measurement of works from drawings including AutoCAD measurement techniques.

Preparation of detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities.

Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded

Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.

Perform and manage project activity scheduling and monitoring. Cost forecast planning.

Perform technical and commercial review of subcontractor’s quotations for the preparation of Service agreements

Ensure effective project implementation and utilize productive reports from the creation of WBS with the use of project management system to monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing and delivery up to the closure of the project.

Cost Control:

Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.

Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billing processes, etc

Perform and manage project activity scheduling and monitoring

Ensure effective project implementation and utilize productive reports from the creation of WBS with the use of project management system to monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing and delivery up to the closure of the project.

Prepare monthly vessel movement report for the monitoring of the vessel activities on a daily basis and register all downtime, consumptions and vessel related issues relating to the project promptly to the project manager and management.

Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.

Attend project meetings and discussions with the PMT and external clients

Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.

Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risk.

Providing advice on BOQ and contractual claims with time impact and cost.

Tracking changes to the design and or construction and maintenance etc. works and adjusting quantities.

Coordinate among- project managers, Consultants and contractors on contractual, cost and variation issues

Provide support to Planning Engineers, recommend extension of time and impact cost for the same.

Measure and value the work done on site.

Prepare and submit monthly projects payments to clients.
