Job Description:
Surveying location and customer connection area for new FTTH Network Project as per client request (Omantel).
Making As-Plan Drawing in AutoCAD as per information gathered from surveyed new FTTH Project that showing the proper location of Cabinet (FDH), Pillar Distribution Point (DP), and Fiber Terminal Box (FTB).
Manage and complete proposals and RFQ (Request for quotation) within the given time frame by the customer
Coordinating with the site supervisor for a daily progress report of FTTH Civil and Cable works.
Revising As-Plan Drawing incase supervisors report of any changes in the sites, immediately make site instruction and inform to Client Planning Team to get revised plan & approved design for implementation.
Study Designed drawings and specifications provided by the client and quantify the actual scope of works.
Preparing As-built BOQ, Redline Design, and IAT Documents to close all FOC jobs (Civil Jobs, Fiber Jobs, FTTH & Customer Connections) as per the actual scope of work done and Monthly Report.
Revise Redline Design and IAT Documents (Interim Acceptance Test) for any remarks or changes in the sites done and re-submit the IAT file with the Redline to Client.
Maintain all documents such as As-Built BOQ, As-Built Drawings, Designed BOQ and Drawings related to on-going and previously completed projects.
Interact with Clients engineers and representatives as needed for any technical clarification on the drawings and specifications.
Prepare as-built documents and involve in the certification process with Consultants/Clients.
Assist company PROs in explaining the designed drawings and visit the site along with them whenever necessary.
Attend progress meetings with Clients / Consultants.
Check and verify Subcontractors Invoices.
Prepare and submit documents required for conducting Pre/Interim Acceptance Test with Consultants / Clients.
Coordinating testing and commissioning activities.
Prepare Operation and Maintenance files.
Completing all necessary documentation to be included in weekly and monthly reports of the Project Manager’s review.

Working as a document controller and preparing Pre Acceptance Test Documents such as Mandrel Test Sheet Form, FDT Cabinet Sheet Form, Duct and Manhole Sheet Form, Civil Building Sheet Form, Building Connectivity List, and FDT Record Report needed for the inspection in the site by Client.
Checking and reviewing all As-Built PAT documents and Drawings submitted by the sub-contractors.
Making As-Built BOQ Calculation Sheet based on the As-built submittal of Sub-contractor.
Maintaining the updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution clearly to respective personnel.
Making sure that all controlled copies of the latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff and subcontractors as applicable.
Maintaining the documents and drawings in the Document Control office under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability.
