Project Quantity Surveyor – Arabtec Construction Co. (W.L.L) – State of Qatar Dates of Employment – January 2013 – Present

Reporting to Commercial Manager

Established in 1975, Arabtec Construction (Arabtec) is the largest subsidiary of Arabtec Holding PJSC and specialises in the delivery of social and economic infrastructure projects, including high-rise developments, airport terminals, luxury villas and iconic landmarks. Primary Objectives:

Review and understand the terms and condition of the contract, specification, drawing, BoQ and pricing preamble and ensure senior project staff also has a basic understanding of content and obligation.

Review and submit interim payment application to client not later than the end of the first week in each month and expedite issue of payment certificates and closed out of final account.

Maintain and monitor positive cash flow insofar as commercially possible. If likely negative then alert given to Commercial Manger/Projector Director.

Prepare and maintain detail under measure/over measure records for use in monthly internal reports/end forecast.

Identify, prepare and submit detailed particular on a timely basis of any project new works items, unite rates, escalation and prolongation.

Identified, review, prepare, submit and agreed the Variation Order(cost proposal)

Prepare and provide monthly commercial reports and forecast as required and process and review those report with commercial manager. Submit consolidated reports to General Manger.

Prepare project cost/value reconciliation (CVR) and update on a quarterly basis or as required.
