Responsibility

About 6+ years of experience as an STP operator in detailed process development in Tertiary treatment plant.

Involved in operation of SBR and Activated Sludge Process

Maintain tank levels and take inflow with respect to outflow.

Reducing inorganic constituents using coagulation and flocculation.

Tertiary treatment using Rapid Sand filter, Upward and Slow sand filter, Disc Filter.

Filter backwash using normal and high pH backwash.

Open backwash as required for the quality.

UF backwash using chemical enhanced method.(CEB)

UF cleaning with chemical In-place(CIP)

Maintain the TMP and feed pressure.

Manage FST, RAS pumps and sludge volume.

Ensure centrate quality of both thickening and dewatering process.

Monitoring and involving at RO operation chemical cleaning of RO.

Inspection of inlet & outlet water quality.

Membrane unloading and loading

Responsible for the Maintaining the PH, ORP, Conductivity and Turbidity.

Maintain FRC and TRC in permeate water as per client requirement.

Reduce H2S in 3 stages Odour Control Unit by using NaOH and NaOCl.

Monitoring and troubleshooting in UF, RO.

General Duties:

Operates valves and gates either manually or by remote control.

Maintains shift log and records various readings as in the SCADA.

Monitors gauges, meters, and control panel.

Notify respective group’s engineer/ On call team of the station,alarm generated in SCADA.

Achieve the quantity and quality as per the design through the smooth plant operation.

Allocate the job to casuals and ensure that it is followed as per instruction.

Identify the maintenance problems and get it done.

Ensure the equipment is cleaned and properly used in shift.

Ensure and co-ordinate with QC/Engg/stores as per the requirement.

Checking of raw materials (weights and analytical reports)

Maintaining daily & monthly stock reports of chemicals.

Makes operating decisions in absence of supervisory personnel.

Assists in keeping maintenance records, develop computer spreadsheets, and use Word and Excel.
