I am a graduate of BS Food Technology in the University of the Philippines, Diploma in Research and Development Management and currently under Leave of Absence (LOA) under BA Multimedia Studies in the University of the Philippines Open University. I have taken various courses that further develop my skills in food science & technology, multimedia, ICT, basic programming, management/program concepts and principles, technology evaluation and commercialization, and decision-making in an organization. I am also knowledgeable in different physico-chemical, microbiological and technical analyses. I am equipped in research and development, quality control, and food handling. I also underwent a thesis where I have conducted different sensory evaluation, food processing and handling in my first bachelor’s degree. Meanwhile, I also plan to undergo my thesis about Bitcoins as an alternative remittance for OFW to the Philippines.

Having outstanding leadership abilities, I am elected as the President (2004-2005) and Extension Committee Head (2003-2004) of the Philippine Association of Food Technologists Incorporated, β- Chapter. As one of the head of the organization, I handled several projects such as quiz contests, outreach programs, trade fairs, sports fests and income generating activities. Being a hardworking, trustworthy and honest young man, I became a Shift Manager in Delifrance, a café bakery. As a manager, I am responsible for the overall operation of the store during my shift. I also became a Research and Development Officer in Canadian Biogurt Operations where I was responsible in product development of soybean products. Furthermore, I was a Store Quality Assurance Officer in Goldilocks Bakeshop Inc. where I am responsible in conducting quality audit in the Luzon-wide branches. Currently, I’m with Bakels Philippines Inc. as a Key Accounts Specialist handling Industrial accounts, previously as Technical Sales Representative handling Region 1 accounts. Basically, I do Account Management which deals with sales growth, clients’ bakery ingredients requirements, business development, technical assistance, accounts receivables, collection, forecasting and inventory management. I am flexible, can work under pressure and in long hours and have an excellent and fast typing skills, proficient in using MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher) and other computer programs. I have an excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, and with vibrant personality. I have a keen sense for details and analytical, and willing to learn and be trained.
