NY Bar coded ID – Developed an application to pass insured name and address to a module which was used to create barcode on the insurance card. Developed and executed test plans.
Maryland Auto Notice of Premium Increase – Designed and Developed a new application to produce a Report of increase in surcharge if there is a new violation or accident on the policy. Accessed databases to get information about all the drivers and accidents and violations and coded a very complex COBOL and IMS Program to load an internal table then later on the data was used to create a daily report which is used by the agent and Underwriters.
Additional driving discovery – Designed and Developed a new application to produce a Report to identify any household member who is not insured by Chubb while other members are. Developed and execute test plans.
FIGA 2- There was a special assessment of 2% is based upon 2005 net direct written premiums of the All lines of business and was paid to the Florida Insurance Guaranty Association, Inc. before January 31, 2007, so that amount was recouped as a surcharge.
OFAC - ( office of Foreign asset control) - Introduced a new system so that name of the terrorists and drug dealers name will be filtered before the policy get issued, the information goes to general council first. ( used COBOL, IMS, MQseries, Db2 to implement this project). Developed and Designed ten modules using Cobol and IMS and MQ to support this project.
This Project was implemented to Support Federal Law where US business and individual are not allowed to do business with certain Countries and individuals. These individuals and Countries are listed in a Special Designated National list. The Project automated the SDN Look up during New Line, Renewal and some endorsements of . If a Match is found then a specific work flow is in place to stop the quoting process.
ISO - Introduced new symbols for the vehicle for new rating purposes Using Cobol, IMS and Db2.
Developed and executed test plans.
This Project enhanced Vehicle Series Rating Symbol Program. Before this project there was just one symbol for Physical damage after the implementation of this project Comprehensive and Collision have separate Symbols, resulting in changed Vehicle premium.
Panorama - This Project is an ongoing Underwriting Scoring Project, using predictive variables which results in scoring used by underwriters. Every Chubb Insured is Scored base on their history of losses, location etc., Worked on Several Projects to support the scoring System. Developed a Database Fix Program using, Cobol, IMS and DB2 which is run with some specific roll out Projects and other developers has to update the Parm values, there is no need to touch the code. Check Point Restart method was included in this DB fix.
MPRA - Chubb’s Re architecture project when homegrown Master Piece System was undergoing major changes, involved in coding, writing the test plans and doing the parallel testing.
Developed Test cases for all projects to test them in Test environment, so that when code goes to QA it is stable.

Worked in Middle Markets/Tailored Account Maintenance (MM/TAM) system, which received feeds from an ordering system and used that information to update the Customer Account Database (CADB) and the Message Guide Database (MGDB). The two databases together contained seventy copies and resided in six complexes. The main users of the data were the WEFOS and SBS billers, and the Message Processing System. MM/TAM was written using COBOL/ IMS/DB2 and was mainly a batch process.
