I am an enthusiastic and highly motivated scientist with over 12 years of consistent research experience, and I have published over 50 articles. My multidisciplinary research experience includes nanomedicine, formulation & drug delivery, cancer drug discovery, immuno- oncology and dissecting molecular signaling pathway in cancer models. During 2 years of company experience, worked with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to deliver GMP drug product for clinical development.

• Developing microbubble platform for ultrasound-mediated delivery of STAT3 decoy and STAT3 antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) in head and neck cancers and glioblastoma.

• Developing delivery platform to study the knockdown effect of miR-27a* in squamous carcinoma cells.

• Synthesis of nitrite and nitro-fatty acid-loaded microbubble for treatment in microvascular obstruction using Ischemia/Reperfusion hindlimb model.

• Developing brain endothelial p-selectin targeting strategy to aid the brain imaging in sickle cell (SS) mice.

• Developing new delivery platform to improve the therapeutic effect of small molecules and oligonucleotides/nucleic acids.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• In vivo: Developing mouse xenograft tumor model for various in vivo anticancer study. Hindlimb Ischemia/Reperfusion model in rats, pharmacokinetic study in rats, biodistribution analysis (HPLC), biodistribution imaging, ultrasound treatment. Various type of injection (IP, IV and SC). Histopathology, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, western blotting, ELISA, and RT-PCR.

• In vitro: Cell culture technique, various cancer cell line handling including adherent and non-adherent cells, development of drug-resistant cancer cell lines, BBB transwell model, in vitro flow loop model of microvascular obstruction. Gene silencing with miRNA, cytotoxicity assay (MTT), cellular uptake, apoptosis, clonogenic, wound healing, migration, invasion and, glutathione assay.
