I recently graduated from Vellore Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical Engineering. During my time at VIT, I engaged in several projects, both academic and otherwise, and have been a member of VITC Formula Electric, an electric formula student car team. My work has largely been in the fields of power transmission, machine design, solid mechanics and IC engines. My future career interests are mostly towards research work in the fields of fluid mechanics and computational engineering. I tend to work towards perfection in my work and am eager to learn new things and contribute towards something for society.

Investigation on the Effect of Intake Pressure on a Biogas-Diesel Fuelled Dual Fuel Engine [Under Review: Minor Revision Submitted] [Energy Sources, Part A: Recovery, Utilisation and Environmental Effects] [Communicated by Taylor & Francis]: The purpose of this research study is to study the effect of increasing the intake air pressure on a dual fuel CI engine running on biogas (primary fuel) and diesel (pilot fuel) and comparing the results with the mode where the engine works on pure diesel and atmospheric air. A 4-stroke CI engine is used for the experiment and a single-stage reciprocating compressor supplies air at high pressure to the intake manifold.

Design and Analysis of an Epicyclic Gearbox for an Electric drivetrain [PUBLISHED] [International Journal of Recent Technology and Engineering] [Volume-8 Issue-3, September 2019] [DOI: 10.35940/ijrte.c5787.098319]: In this project, we designed a planetary gearbox with a transmission ratio of 3:1 to be used in the transmission system of an FSAE electric car. The design parameters were calculated using empirical equations and a software called KISSsoft. Computational simulations in ANSYS were used to verify the design reliability.

Design of a Solar Updraft Tower (Technical Answers to Real World Problems): A theoretical design is suggested for construction of a structure which used the radiation energy of the sun and the buoyancy effects of hot air to generate power through a wind turbine and a prototype is fabricated for the design.

Fabrication of a pick and place mobile robot for garbage collection (Robotics): A robot is manufactured which comprises of a line-following vehicle with a TLO manipulator(arm) which can be remotely controlled via bluetooth. Infrared sensors, servo- motors and Arduino controllers are used to create the control system.
