Responsibilities:
Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site.
Cary out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.
Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.
Report to the QA/QC Manager, control, and monitor all activities related to Quality Management System, QMS.
Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance report, NCR and Site observation report, SOR.
Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
Liaise the Technical Engineer for submission of material submittals to Consultant.
Ensure the Mechanical, Electrical, ELV, Plumbing and Fire Protection work carried out is as per approved shop drawing and within the time frame and progress of the approved construction program.
Ensure that the installation, inspection and testing of all the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection equipment, fittings and work implemented meets the specification and the consultant requirements.
Verify the accuracy of shop drawings and their compliance to the specification, consultant’s design and existing local authority standard.
Coordinate with other project personnel to ensure that deadlines, procedures, and other project requirements are met.
Conduct Continuity and Insulation (Megger) test of TTHN/THWN and XLPE Cables.
Conduct Ground Earth Resistance Test for individual and interconnection of Earth Rod.
Conduct Internal Inspection in testing of Low Voltage Switch Board, Capacitor Bank, Main Distribution Panel, ATS, Generator, Sub-Main Distribution Board and Distribution Board.,
Internal Inspection in testing of ELV System such as Fire Alarm System, Central Battery System, Lighting Control System, Intercom System, UPS System, Access Control, Gate Barrier, Structural Cabling, CCTV and BMS System.
Review Testing, Adjusting and Balancing Procedure [Air & Water] prior to commencement at site.
Review Testing Procedure of Pneumatic, Hydro & Duct Leak prior to execution at site.
