I am a part in the team of Maintenance in Bungalow and in TVS Educational Society. My role is to maintain the facilities by providing all the infrastructure facilities.

The major activity undertaken was shifting of TVS Training and Services from CPAT campus to other location with complete infrastructures.

My role is to facilitate the construction activities till completion of project on behalf of NDDB for the state local bodies.

The project at Tiruvannamalai is located at Ammapalayam – Construction of 2 Lac Litres capacity of Dairy plant and 20 MT capacity of Powder plant for Tamilnadu State Government - Aavin.

I was reporting to DGM – Engineer Services and co-ordinating the works of construction, Refrigeration, Electrification and Erection of Machines and Piping of the plant.

My role has been widely spread over in this project not only in civil and also in electrical and machineries erection.

I was also co-ordinating with the client Aavin for licensing the plant from various government bodies like fire, local panchayat etc., for approvals.

In addition to the site activities I was co-ordinating with head office at Anand for smooth commissioning of the plant and also used computer tools such as CCBS, GRN (Orion) etc.,

I was under third party payroll of Randstad – Chennai on contract.

Worked as a Senior Engineer at Royal Enfield, A Unit of Eicher Motors from November 2009 - April 2013

I am a part in the team for the revamping of the 55 year old plant. Major refurbishments and construction activities were carried out to increase the production capacity. My role is to facilitate the production by providing all the infrastructures.

The major construction activities undertaken was new paint shop, conversion of shop floors, world class engine assembly cell (clean room), training centre, testing beds, conversion of roof sheets, erection of paint booth, renovation of the office spaces, establishing new spares warehouse, relaying of drain lines and erection of underground diesel storage tank layout and execution..

Royal Enfield decided to construct a new plant and I was posted as site engineer for the plant construction. The green field project area of construction is about 45,000 sqm.

My roles in the construction of new plant is

oTo coordinate with architects, PMC and execute with the civil contractors, to carry out preliminary works at site like compound wall, security shed and Shurb cleaning etc.,

oTo coordinate with the Pre-engineered building suppliers, civil contractors and other agencies like electrical and plumbing for execution of the project.

oTo prepare management approval documents such as Capital and Revex for the year.

oEffectively involved in SWC – Single Window Clearance with DIC – District Industries of Commerce for government licensing bodies such as TNPCB, TNEB, TNHD (Health Department), and Fire Department, Safety Department, DTCP and local panchayat for obtaining factory license.

oFollow up and co-ordinating with SIPCOT officials for factory approvals.

oTo coordinate with pre engineering building suppliers and the civil contractors for extracting quality standards.

oTo prepare comparison statements and submit to the management.

Worked as a Jr.Officer at Sundaram Motors (TVS), Chennai from October 2007 till November 2009

In charge of all upcoming projects / office renovation – New service centre at Poonamallee, Tiruvannamalai, Madurai, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Peenya, Secunderabad etc.,

Complete project management including - Layout planning for the projects as per the Management’s requirement, finalizing the layouts with the Architects, float tender, preparing the comparative statements, finalising the contractors and awarding works to the contractors, certifying the bills, preparing the monthly budget, daily updating to the higher officials and most importantly ensure the progress is as per work schedule and the quality is maintained.

Maintenance of existing infrastructure facilities in both factory and buildings belonging to the management board members (Bungalow maintenance), Housekeeping, Land lease deed verification, involving in site selection process as per company norms and vasthu, preparation of regular maintenance schedule etc.,

Posted as Site Engineer at Sirkali through NGO of TVS to construct 165 Houses and Two Pre-Fabricated Medical centre buildings in the villages affected by Tsunami in the year 2004 around Sirkali.

To study the requirements set by the Government, conduct feasibility study in terms of quantity and additional cost for the same, alter the original concept plan to suit the need.

Co-ordinate with work at site and village people to carry out the construction activity smoothly.
